Fair enough about the thick paint comments ....people are only trying to help on that one and your hide may need to thicken a little. If it keeps getting mentioned it may very well be that it continues to be a problem.
Many times I have read comments from others when voting on a mini and there does seem to be an increasing amount of negative crticism or just plain nastiness. Before commenting think about it objectively as compared to subjectively and try to offer constructive crit.
If you can\'t do that then as your momma says ...dont say anything at all.
I didnt think it was the forum to ridicule and demean others hard work just because we can or it is relatively anonymous ....just like bullies working in packs. It\'s not necessary ...even if it does make the culprits feel better about the crap they churn out themselves. Unless it is constructive or justified take it with a grain of salt and let the nasty commentator go on being the tosser that they are.
However Wombat it goes back to the comment about putting the work in to improve or copping the same comments sweet. Take constructive, valid criticism for what it is and welcome it rather than becoming defensive. If people gave the scores and comments they thought everyone wanted rather than the truth no-body would learn or grow as a painter. Brutal honesty can be your friend. If you don\'t want to heed advice either learn not to get offended or simply don\'t post them . There seems to be not much point if you are not going back and reading the comments anyway.
