TIME TO VOTE - Wereshark WYRD Painting Contest

breaching sharks documentaries are Air Jaws and Air Jaws 2. the first one is strictly so. Africa. the second one is them going out to see if any other great white sharks in the world do it as well. they dont leap out to catch the prey, its more of a i hit kill. the prey (most often is a sea lion) is swimming on the waters surface, the sharks will come straight out of the darkness of the water, 9 out of 10 times the back off at the last second sensing that they angle or w/e is wrong. when they do hit....well...imagine that size of a shark smashing you into the water...plus the average jaw pressure of 1000lbs per square inch.
as you can tell i like sharks

I didn\'t check the validity of those photos, I just got them E-mailed to me (don\'t you just hate all the crap people send you?) and thought of this contest. Pretty cool the way whoever did it combined the pics, though. And even though that first pic isn\'t a shark, I know I would\'ve ruined MY wetsuit!

Can\'t wait to see all the contest entries, FF.

(laughing) You didn\'t hijack it, added some flavor to it! Besides, found a bit of inspiration in that second photo for my wereshark.

As for the dolphin, yeah, all I would of saw was big ass fish and a shark like fin and that would of been enough for me not to go back in the water.

Oh, and on a happy note for me tonight ... yaaaaay! Finished my Wereshark. Rather pleased with it overall.

Finally finished my wereshark! Took pics - just need to send FF the pic. after Grumb mails it to me. (Been working on his laptop in bed - thank you wireless network!)

Whew! I leave town Fri. and I\'m glad that\'s off my plate!

I\'m glad I did go ahead and enter. Grumb and I have had a good time working on our sharks together. Like I told Nathan, even if I get blasted from the CMON group for a crappy paint job I had a good time doing it and, ultimately, that\'s what it\'s all about - having fun! :flip:

Now I can\'t wait for everyone else to finish theirs and have all of them posted so I can see them!! (So this is how everyone felt after CCV!)

Get off the fence and send them on in folks. Three days and some minutes left on the count down for submissions.

As of right now, there are only six submissions (sad tisn\'t it?) so everyone is guarenteed a prize at this point.

Good to hear! I kinda miss being able to paint with someone else. It was like a weird zen tea time or something. Hopefully the Seattle group can get together sometimes to do that.

Heh...and from what I\'ve seen, you shouldn\'t worry about being blasted by the critics. Remember, you\'re your own worst critic. If a criticism bothers you, it\'s probably because you see it yourself too.
