great work.
it seems to be some inflation when it comes to nutsacks and trunks nowdays, especially on mierce range its blown out of proportions on some miniatures. as i said before it was "fun" in the beginning but now it feels almost a bit ridiculous when there are certain bits just with the genitalia.

I get the desire for realism but completely agree that some of the sculpts have gone too far. Also this monster is in 28mm scale making him about what 15/20 foot? His scrotum would literally be twice the size of my head!

Be VERY gentle removing scrotum from the sprue. I find they benefit from a light sanding of 10000000 grit sand paper (KY Jelly).

Doesn't make any sense to have genitals on a demon, aren't demons spawns from hell? I don't remember ready anywhere that demons and demonettes where having off springs...

ROFL

Eternity with no hanky-panky? no wonder their so angry!

Yeah Imagine the Necrons, of all the Necrontyr ppl the C'tans didn't transfer a single female Necrontyr's life essence into the Immortal living metal bodies.
At least demons can go to first base with demonettes.

"Promising them not only victory in the War in Heaven but also the immortality every Necrontyr craved, the Silent King and the Triarch eagerly agreed to an alliance, and so forever doomed their race. Beginning the great biotransferance, the weak flesh of the Necrontyr was replaced with immortal bodies of living metal."

Not a lot of time for painting over the weekend but I did get a tiny bit done on the sorcerer last night. Getting the wood right is proving difficult. This is the smallest figure I've painted and everything is just so....small! Trying to get crisp lines and details is a pain in the arse! Still, I'm determined to get him (and the whole diorama) complete by the end of the month so I can move onto my Artemis for the gods and monsters challenge.

Not to happy with how the sorcerer was going so moved onto something else. Sculpted a tentacle and I'm really happy with how it turned out but I'm not sure if it's to much? Thoughts?

What?! oh- tentacle ~whew~ i was worried given the osl from before. I think it looks creepy as hell, but tie some of that pink into the base and mini. Sticks out a bit now ;)

Lol phalluses, phalluses everywhere! No the giant glowing balls are enough on this project I think

You're right about the pink. I'll glaze some purple into the shadow and reddy/ brown onto the highlights to tone it down a little. Thanks mate. (The paint box looks amazing by the way)

Thanks 10

Glazed and toned down, any better?

Edit: sorry it's really sunny here at the moment (very unusual for England) and it's making the colours really bright on the photos. IRL it's far more muted.
edit edit: better pic
