Not dead yet Ter (although I feel it after the last few weeks) I'm glad to get the little dude done and dusted though. Going to chill for a little bit, see Star Wars and drink beer. I may get a little hobby time in but I need to recharge the batteries
Chees Mally, Kbear and Meanas to be far the bricks where a happy accident. I wanted the cast scale bricks from I forget who but I didn't have the time for delivery. I thought about casting my own but couldn't be bothered and didn't trust my skills. I happened on the the balsa wood brick because I'd just finished the floorboards, had it to hand and thought 'why not' I wasn't sure how it would take the paint and if the texture would would but I'm very happy with the final result, so much b tree than I thought it would be. As for the painting, the secret ingredient is army painter red ink. It really helped give a lovely saturated red tone to the brick.
