Guys I'm completely bowled over by the response and votes that Weapon of last resort has received! I'm not sure how the voting works really but he's sitting on 9.4(9.7) and 49(22) which I know is really good. Can somebody clarify for me, does that mean 49 people have vote and 22 of those are registered or is it 71 people in total?
@Zab the only problem I can see is the lights over heating. I had it on for around 20 mins, started to smell burnt plastic so turned it off quick smart. Still considering the price point im really happy with the results.
@ Maenus thanks dude. If you haven't already I highly recommend buying Painting Buhdda's basing earth DVD's. It's really what gave me the conference to tackle a base like this in the first place. I really wanted to see how far I could push myself as well. With regards to the flag stones that was an expereiment in colour and pigments that I got lucky with. The base colour was SOOOO vibrant blue my wife was like 'errrr what are they suppose to be?'
@Ark thanks guys and sorry I haven't replied to your brilliant thread yet. CMoN not working and then work have got in the way of anything productive for the last week and a bit. Really looking forward to your kickstarter as I'd love to get some paint on your models.
@WGS yeah I'm pretty happy I forgot too I much prefer the results now. Looks like I'll have to practice NMM on another model. I've sighed up for Tommies painting class in October so I may just leave in until then. Really looking forward to it.
@10 thanks mate, I'm really happy with how that turned out as well. I have a future project in mind that will need LOTS of water so I'm hoping it comes out as well.
anybody going to euromilitaire next month? I'm thinking about it and it would be great to meet up with people
so after a little break from hobbying I've managed to get some more work done on War. Just playing with the TMM on the gauntlet and sword at the moment. I love the sword but even with the ultra detail the 3D printed lines are quiet visible which is a pain. Still it's a technology that's still very much in its infancy and I'd definitely use it again. Thoughts?
