Oh and "mold line alert"
Bo****ks! I reckon my eyes are going as I went over these guys soooo many times looking for mold lines and I was sure I got them all. The second I primed them, there they all are mocking me! I think the ones in the photo are much worse on the screen because looking at the figure now I'll be buggered if I can see them and I'm fine with that (really I am, it's not bothering me at all:curse!::curse!::curse!::curse!
as for the palette I have no idea as to amounts but for the base I used good old African shadow from scale 75 with GW nurgling green and a tip of model air fire red. Then more of the nurgling green mixed in for the midtones bringing it up to near 100% through a ton of very thin layers. I then added some GW Ushabti bone for the upper midtones highlighting up to pallid Wych flesh with a tip of the nurgling green (I now officially hate auto text and GW paint names!) I now will go in and glaze in more of the Wych flesh and some dark sea blue for the shadows. Hopefully this will really make the contrast pop.
@ Trystan I'm actually finding painting a few things its helping me keep focused. If I get stuck or bored I move onto something else.
@ Diggs & Ark thanks guys really great to know that I'm on the right track, that also really helps me pushing forwards.
@ WGS I think I'll probably leave it as it is for numbers as there's already loads to do, why do you think it needs more?
