Thanks Thri, I really appreciate it :)

Yet another week of almost zero hobby time as I'm working flat out (which sucks) I did manage to finish JuJu last night though. An amazing mini and he's been an absolute blast to paint. Thank you everyone for the feedback. So many great ideas, suggestions and encouragment, you guys absolutely rock.

The photos a bit too dark for my liking so I'll have another bash before uploading to my gallery. I really like the atmosphere of this one though

Beautifully done, I love how the colour ties it all together!
I've got this bust myself and seeing how well you've painted yours inspires me.

Boom - Darthmarsh now hits a new high with this piece. I also believe this to be your best to date, the texture is incredible, the OSL aids the composition and sets that sinister feel that this bust requires.
brilliantly thought out and stunningly executed.

I don't think we can be friends anymore Tim. You are now in the upper echelon of painters and I can now only look at your work with quite admiration .

So good. So so good. This is really inspirational.

On the plus side, I'm confident I can paint my plinths to the same standard as you. Now if I can just bring my model painting standard up...

Awesome work, Darth. I agree that this is a new level of excellence from you. Congratulations on that!
The style of the sign on the plinth works perfectly with the figure. Just amazing work all around!

Wow thank you all so, so much. I'm having a bit of a rough time at the moment so all of your lovely comments are hugely uplifting :)

David, yours was one of the first WIP's I started following on here and your Dark Eldar dio was one of the main reasons I started painting. I'd not really considered it as an art form before and your work blew me away. Any comment from you is amazing but to hear that something I've painted has inspired you........I'm completely floored! Thank you

Andy, thank you for the inspiration mate. I'd have never tackled the blue if you'd not have mentioned it (even if OSL is not what you originally had in mind) for me this was by far the most technically challenging thing I've done so far. He nearly ended up out a window a few times but I think it makes the piece.

CMoWhat crew, you guys are a creative melting pot thst I absolutely can't do without out now, even if you are all a little weird ;)

Sicks, Lee, BAM and everyone else, thank you for the considered, helpful critiques. You guys always come up trumps (possibly not the best word considering the latest political cluster f*^k)

JuJu has been entred into the Eavier metal online Halloween monster mash comp, I'm not sure when we get the results but I'll let you know how he does.

In the mean time I've added some better photos to P&P if anyone fancies a gander

cheers again

Tim

Cheers guys.

I think the photo's are letting JuJu down on P&P if I'm honest. I posted him via my phone and they looked fine. Afterwards I logged in on my laptop and they looked awful! Slightly out of focus and a bit washed out! I really need to improve my photography

I'm very aware I may curse this but things seem to be looking up, I even got a wee bit of painting in on Tuesday night. Only a few hours in but it's great to be painting Bonner inspired stuff again

Fantastic. still think your irregular painting has something to do with the time Mr. Bonner can paint your figures! :brushwave::worship::claply::wink:
