Not something I would be interested in...to me its like a little boys dream! \"Eavy Metal...WOW!\"

I like to paint when i want and how i like, dont think I would like the deadline based job. Though good luck to anybody that applies...and studio based jobs are the best! I work/study in a \'mock up\' studio and its great!

Someone apply, get the job, find out how much they get paid, turn them down then tell us! :D

Seriously, I\'m sure the work is fun, but I\'ll wager the pay is utter pap.

Anja! when you got that job you promised to get me in next :p

I\'d love to do it, or the job posted on the Privateer Press site right now. My damn problem is I have a really good paying job now and I could never justify the change :(

hmmm if i was a few years older i may be more interested.Though i proberly wouldnt do it for life, just as a sort of payed school.It would be cool to do work experiance there.

I am doing work experiance at the mo.(really likeing it) but in my searches i noticed you could go for work experiance at warhammer world.There were 2 placements one was packing he other was an office job.I nearly went for one of them but theres no public transport that way though.Still it would have been good to see what goes on there

Eyup miduck! Sorry, my powers within the studio are only on the psychological level; I can sometimes get Fil to be quiet. lol

I would love to paint full time.... but my painting skills are not up there yet, and my lack of patience and short attention span keep getting me in trouble.

Do GW ever use freelance painting services?

Yes, at least Fanatic commisioned SJB to do work and established painters are sometimes sent product and told to paint it but thats done for free (the chaos warriors for example, Dragonsreach was one of a few that painted them).

Yeah, Specialist Games used to advertise their commission rates on their site. Once again I was strongly considering it, but decided to focus on education. I already have enough Specialist Games stuff lying around unpainted, no need to add to the pile ;)

I\'m amazed at the secrecy surrounding the pay rate. Most job adverts I see in the papers give a guide to salary but that is being avoided at all costs here.

since I started painting minis 16 years ago I\'ve kinda modeled my style trying to imitate the Eavy metal team\'s way of presenting minis, I don\'t care about the wage or location I would be there in an instant if the job was to be offered to me, because painting minis in this way is the longest lasting activity I have ever started and hopefully never complete( not due to a lack of painting tho) loads of great looking units on the table top led by fantastic generals.
I\'m all for it!!!:yes::yes::yes:
