Nano won the slayer, Julien Casses got gold in their respective categories!
Gratz everyone who won, was a good day, although the photos i took turned out crap (need to remember to turn the flash off next time when taking pics of the lit cabinets).
My dread didnt make the cut, but given the quality of the competition i\'m not surprised, there was over 30 dreads in the vehicle category and only 1 made it to the final cut, there were some stunning vehicle entries, my fav was a sort of ork rocket bike.
Stupid GW decided not to let us near retail early so by 10am there was a huge mob of people and a mad dash to the 40k counter for the new codex.
FW had sold out of the new world eaters lord in 10mins, but i got the rest of my FW goodies (and the idiots gave me the wrong volume of Imperial armor and i didnt notice til i got home )
Ohh i picked up the FW vehicle painting book, will post a review later.
Sorry i didnt manage to make it to the meet but kept bumping into people i knew.
Spent too much as usual, including £60 on 12 random boxes (each w/4 blisters) but at least i\'m sorted for the next 100 mini exchanges now.
