well, im getting in the habit of posting these because i have gotten some great feedback. i hope i dont bore you.

this mini isnt up to my highest standard, but was fun to paint. i get sick of pouring over one mini for a bazillion hours sometimes, and feel the need to paint up a fun one quickly.
the toadman is the \"real\" mini i would like you to look at here, please ignore the skele and the shitty osl. fot the most part im interested in your thoughts on my metallics (note - blue on metallics = oxidation, blue on skele = bad osl)

I\'m not bored but i don\'t have so much good to say. The both look good but the toadman is obviously neater. i really like the colour of the skin. one point is that I think the oxidation could be a bit greener. and i think the metal could use some more highlights mixing in gold and silver. And i don\'t really want to know what the green in the pot is supposed to be.. :)

I like him. Actually, I like both.

You have a dark gritty style that doesn\'t go over the top (not that there is anything wrong with that)...anyhow, I have always liked this style, and I would like to think I paint in that style too.

The oxidization is really well done, made me automatically think of that green/blue crusty on some old batteries.

I know that \'matte finish\' is the best way to do things, but I think some brush on gloss on the toad would really add to the \'slimey\' feel.

ooo, i like that idea...

thanks for the feedback all, i really appreciate it.
i was thinking about making the oxidation more green, but i thought i would pull the toadman too far to the greens, and i wanted to balance that out a bit. still, i think i will next time i try this.

im loving metallics! they are so versitile! i had great fun with the copper parts ( i had never done it before) and the tarnished \"silver\" metal parts.

more bones for the bone pile!

instead of starting a new thread i thought i would throw my latest skeletons on to this old topic, since they still fit the bill. nothing spectacular, but they were really fun to paint! i cant wait to do a few more of my boney friends.
more skeleys!

Really solid old school skellies.

It seemed that skeletons were really popular at one time in mini-land, but not so much now.

Good paint!

the popularity of skeletons will rise again!

thanks guys, i had no idea people would actually dig these guys. rise my pritties...more...more...MORE....

i used to really enjoy them, and ive recently re-discovered that i still do.

all of these skeletons are gw, assorted years. the three on the left are discontinued, but i think you can still buy the three on the right (the molds are at least 10 years old though). the oldest is 1985 i think...i had to freehand the teeth on to them. im expanding this group with some skeletons of different races, and skeletons from different companies. one of the cool things about skellies is that well, they all kind of look the same, so skeletons made by different sculpters still mix well.
