Yesterday at the grocery market buying weekend food for the family I happened upon a tray of household nonfoods. One of them being toothpicks. In a comic I would have had a lightbulb over my head in that moment because I had this great idea:
\"Use a toothpick to stir paint and thinner on the pallette instead of the old brush that I used to use. Its cheap and discardable, no rinsing needed\"
Today I tried it out and it works like a spell. Stir and discard, no paint in the rag, no muddying of the waterjar. I even think one could use them more than once (important for misers like me) because the adherring paint is completely dried out after a few hours so it won\'t mix when stirring a new batch.
I\'m very happy with this and would like to share.
P.S. For all the expert painters on this site who know all the tricks, this may be old news. Sorry.
