I always peel my oranges before weighing them lol

You know, I was just going to suggest that, but decided that was being silly lol

Do you do the same with banana\'s?

And the eggs....my God the eggs!

Please tell me how you get the eggs to the counter! Or do they only have the plastic egg cartons where you shop?

Twicks of the twade...

ok you want something fun to do? Just shake up a load of fizzy drink cans in the supermarket or, better still in a garage :D

In my youth a group of friends and myself did that and almost wet ourselves as one driver opened his can whilst driving out of the petrol station and disappeared in a cloud of foam. *sigh* bet he had to get the car valeted too... :innocent:

Re brocolli - food of the gods. I love the stuff, stalks and all. Same for mushrooms too :D

maybe I was a bit harsh...

On the Broccoli. I used to love it, then I went on that goofy Atkins Diet for about 6 mos. Broccoli is one of the vegetables you can eat quite a bit of. So we did. Every night. More of the same...blah...

Anyhow, heres a Grocery Store story one of my older co-workers shared with me.

It was just before easter and the little lady that did the dispatching ran over on her lunchbreak to get the weekends groceries. She soon returned and got back to work. One of the old fellows finished early with his route and noticed her groceries, including a dozen eggs.

He took the eggs and proceeded to hard boil them in this little torch pot he had. After that, he placed them back in their container and back into her grocery bag, saying nothing.

Easter weekend came and went, and that following Monday morning the lady was raising quite a ruckus about the damnable eggs she had bought on Friday, \"Hard boiled, every one of them\"

The same old fellow then convinced the lady that alot of stores do that, right before Easter, to save people the trouble.

She was furious, saying how there should have been a sign, and it was not made clear to her.

On her lunch, she went back to the grocery store to give the manager a piece of her mind... lol

Old people - don\'t go shopping during the week when everyone else is at work and you can have the supermarket to yourselves. Wait until about 6.00 on a Friday when all the workers are trying to cram in their weekly shop before going home. Dither in front of the vegetables trying to decide whether you want one potato and two carrots, or two potatos and one carrot...look aghast when the person at the checkout tells you the total and then try to pay in either \'old money\' with an expired credit card or entirely in the 1p pieces that you have been saving up.

Honestly, there is nothing that enhances the \'shopping experience\' more for the rest of us that waiting around watching your hilarious antics:flip:

:D You\'re Welcome;)

When going to the supermarket always take a few fully loaded automatic weapons with you. Ideal for gunning down the thick, sick and lame that always get in your bloody way! Personally I\'d also suggest knee capping the slovenly, miserable sods that they stick on the door and have the cheek to call \'greeters\'.

I\'m just getting angry now... sorry...

Heh!

I used to fantasise about taking a flamethrower to a supermarket (just kidding folks!!!before someone calls the FBI), but now i believe I would favour the more personal touch ala sword and garotte. Death stars too...yes...they have a role to play....

Or....how about mined tin cans...that explode when touched???

I\'d deploy them in the tinned salmon and cat food sections:flip:

Yee hah!!

and on and on and on... move your fat gabbing asses to a corner :flame:
DO NOT stand there making everyone else squeeze past you!

I worked at a resturant. When it was time for this woman to pay she gets out a plastic tub with (no joke) hundereds of coins, pours them ALL on the counter, looks up at me and smiles. She expected me to count them out! Being the \'good\' employee I relented.Grrr

Stand beside them and join the conversation. Takes even longer than just squeezing past her, but pisses them off, and after all, isn\'t that what counts?
