Transformers the movie..yes its true

i work for one of the movie studios and i found out how the movie is being made.
its not what you think. Bay is f@#@ing it up big time. the story is not like the original.
saw some of the drawings of the \'bots. they are going to be smooth round surfaces nothing like the originals.
i\'m not liking how its coming together :flame:

Fine, I had to go look for it myself.
If anyone else is having the trouble I\'m having I found this other site:
transformer preview
I assume this is the same preview.

The robot doesn\'t look all rounded.

I seem to vaguely recall that the robots didn\'t originally have car forms and such but that they adapted when they crashed on earth. Am I remembering that right?

You are absolutely right. They had transport modes like spaceships and future cars, but when their ship crashed on earth the artificial inteligence of the ship gave them earth cars and planes etc to blend in...

even if everyone says it sucks, I\'ll see it. I didn\'t have the right channel for transformers when I was a kid.. :~( Read many numbers of the magazine though.

Can\'t believe you guys have only just heard of this..............it\'s at least a year old.

It\'s not going to be generation 1 transformers, they are keeping some of the characters though

George Clooney was rumored to be the voice of optimus prime.

And Soundwave is not going to be a cassette player, but a helicopter. Of course this could all change. I pray it\'s good but will probably be extremely disappointed.

Starscream should have just killed Megatron.
it\'s like the GIJoe cartoon - crack team of the world\'s best soldiers, none of whom has apparently ever picked up a gun before because they couldn\'t shoot their own feet if they tried.

The A-Team never had anyone die either.

I don\'t like the idea of Soundwave being a helicopter.

Funniest A-Team moment - Helicopter crashes into a cliff and then falls 100 feet to the ground in a ball of fire. All the occupants stagger out with soot on their face. I almost wet myself!lol

I\'ll probably be disappointed in the transformers movie too, but there\'s a lot that can be said to sneaking a bottle of jack daniels into the theatre with you to improve the quality of the movie

Galaxy Rangers was the cartoon for me. Sure the main characters always made out allright, but lackies and red shirts bit it on a regular basis.

No, but I was expecting some entertainment, not a two and a half hour bore-a-thon with very little plot and the two main actors being either drippy or utterly irritating!

I certainly won\'t be going to see the \'turd\' installment in the series....
