Translucency

Hi,
I'm wondering how to paint thing to make them appear as is they are translucent... Could you help?

Hi, what things exactly? Crystals, sheer clothing, wet cloth?

The secret is to paint what is underneath/behind. So in the case of cloth mix in a bit of the flesh colour in the areas that would be in contact with the flesh. Then paint the reast as you would normally. There are plenty of tutorials on translusent clothing to use. Just look in the article section of CMoN there will be at least one.

Tricky. One of my very first attempts was at a nearly crystal clear wing (link is here). Admittedly, its a little different from what you're looking for, but it's something that maybe gets you started in the right direction. I think the important part for you would be the back of the figure, where I've had to paint, on the wings, what is in front of them. So, mix that with the translucent articles and I think you'd be well off.
