Nice and clean looking so far Cass. Question.... Do you have just a few dremel bits that you use for most things or is it more a matter of...yea, that looks like it'll work kinda thing?

mostly just "this looks like it'd work" lol. i have several bits, a main cutter(for all the heavey carving), a wheel cutter (for lines, grooves etc), various bore hole drills and a thin cutter or fine detailing. the rest is done with sculpting tools files, sand paper and elbow grease.

Congrats on getting that beaky helmet looking right, seems to me an easy shape to get a degree out and it'd look completely wrong. Not that I was ever a beaky fan but this is still cool to see :good: I'd forgotten about the knobbly shoulder pads :D

Cheers, B.

I want one! I am a huge fan of the Mark 6 "Corvus Armor". That's really because it was the first mini I ever painted.

Awesome work as always Cassar!

Tee, that's why I have cass doing this particular maximini, as opposed to a half naked chick or a wolfen. It marks the beginning of all this madness, and a great way to revisit my humble origins.

i have decided to get rid of the wire bandoliers and neck piece in favour of sculpting my own 100% better will post more later.

I'm going to risk my wedding veggies on the chopping block here by saying that that helmet seems to be quite off... Like he's got a chromosome too much. The curve between forehead and beak are usually more aligned while this is a distinct double-curve.
