Two very different models

Hi,

After a few month painting block i have finally picked up my brush again and i am very happy with what has resulted.

The first one is a black scorpion pirate and i really like the free hand on him and his beach base.

The second model is totally differant, i tried to paint it in a more realistic way hence the rusted metals. I also tried a new blood technique and tried to include some water on his base. ( for this i used Pva)

Wow.
You have certainly been improving. These are both great.
The pirate looks excellent on his desert island base. Maybe he could be tidied up a bit but still a great model.

The nurgle guy is really good. He is easily your best work yet. Great colours, the metallics are brilliant.

Well done.

Very nice indeed. I assume the pirate model is the one you were asking about sand for. Turned out well. Both well painted though I would like to see a bigger picture of the chaos warrior.

*Edit* Thought that\'s probably because I\'m tired. ;)

Both very well painted. I like the armour on the nurgle guy. He looks suitably decayed. The beach turned out good as well. Well done did the vote thing.

cadian,

i am not such a big fan of the pirate. the paint job is quite good, but the tree needs to be taken out. that plastic style tree will probably take a model from the high 7\'s to a mid 6. just consider makign your own palm tree and it could turn out better.
