As a birthday prezzy for a friend of mine, I\'m painting up a box of Genestealers and a Lictor.
He said he wants them painted \"Shiny, fleshy and organic. like the \'birth scene\' in the original \'Alien Movie\' and almost vunarable looking, like a foetus or a persons insides\".
And he wants them to have bases that look like the membranes inside a stomach.
I am obviously a bit overwhelmed, I usually paint fantasy stuff, even then its mostly humans, elves etc!
So how do I get a wet, fleshy, pink and \"innardsy\" look for a group of disgusting alien baddies?
I\'m thinking white undercoat, tentacle pink and maybe lich purple basecoats?
Then red ink wash on the pink, then highlight pink back up, pick out details in bone areas and give the whole model a gloss or satin varnish?
For the bone, teeth and claw areas I would like to make them have a weird translucent pinkish effect, like the claws on small mammals.
Any help would be most welcome.
