erggggggggggggh

I agree! Some of Alex Hedström\'s wood elves have been pretty bad, but some are really quite good. Trish Morrison and Steve Saleh did the eagle guy, and some other minis. Really not good at all

I gotta agree with it being boring. Come on GW, lets put more than 10 minutes design time in coming up with something new.

CONGRATS, ORB!

You are welcome to Freakdom! Grab the mop!

Am I the only getting tired of excessive fiddly bits on things like the Eldar? How many :cussing: gems need to be on each one?

I like some of these new models, but since I haven\'t played 40K in over 4 years, I think I can pass on replacing my entire Eldar army again.

4 very very large plastics with 5 gnoblars, 16 ogre heads, 16 weapons and loads of accessories. Extremely well-cast plastic.

I think they\'re going for an early 14th century style german helmet crest. Like this one from the Manesse Codex:

GERMANISTIK_V_16650_Tannhaeuser.jpg

The object in the upper left is a barrel helm with a wing-like crest coming out of each side of the helmet.

I haven\'t seen all the new models yet, but the rumours of the changes in the codex are incredibly exciting for most eldar players.

Its going to be a tough choice between the new fantasy box and the eldar army deal when it comes out.

Blasphemy. Those fiddly bits are the best part.

I do dig the model, but as someone else mentioned it does have too much chunk for an Eldar.

I think plastic is much better than metal, specially now that the detail is on par with metal. Two reasons: 1. Much easier to convert than metal, specially with the multipart kits that come with lots of fun extras. 2. The paint sticks much better to plastic than metal. I\'ve never seen paint chip off a plastic model.
