Non Metallic Metal. Opaque paints used to simulate the shine of metal. Before you ask, SE NMM is Sky -Earth Non Metallic Metal used to simulate a chrome effect.

And it\'s MNM in French for Metal Non Metalique...

Non Metallic Metal - using non metallic colors to give the illusion of a highly reflective metallic surface - like armor and blades. Several good articles in the article section on the how to\'s.

You may also see reference to SENMM which means Sky Earth Non Metallic Metal. That means those refelective surfaces reflect the environement around them - usually it\'s been a flat bleak desert type landscape with blue skies . .

See the work of Arjay for the highest concentration of examples - theough there are several extremely successful practionioners here . . Kuramaru is one of my personal faves

I really like the comic shop owner. Boy! they really hit the nail on the head there didn\'t they. You can almost smell him.....lol

multiply that smell by three add a gradually shrinking walking space, about 2 hats per person, and you got \'urself a Dallas Grand tornament.

Getting back on topic here

I don\'t prefer to use NMM as it looks too clean for most minis, as most have probably just seen combat.

Yeah, what is it with these Europeans and their nudity? I know I was brought up there for a while, but still! .. Or are we Americans just too conservative? ;)

(Oh, now I\'ve done it, and made the whole thread do a 360...)

I suspect it\'s all inextricably bound up with the more liberal attitude to alcohol:D

Americans are too conservative... :D

I was in the US recently and from what I saw in TV , in the streets and by speaking to my (native) friends, I realized that over there violence is ok, nudity, even if partial is not!

Around here (Portugal, Europe) you see comercials (for shampoos, body lotions and similar stuff) showing women\'s breasts and pretty much all of their bodies... it\'s normal, nobody makes a big fuss. But from what I understood such a comercial in the US would cause a lot of trouble to the station...

Oh well... :p
