Steve- how do you find time to do so many entries by leaving it this close to the deadline? ??? I started mine months ago! But then I do have a day job too..

I tend not to work on entries a bit at a time as I lose interest. I work better to just attack and work pretty solidly time wise.

Basically, I don\'t often take holidays so, come September 1st, I will probably take a fortnight off work and just do Golden Demon entries up til the big day.

A Chance to meet the Scooby gang??

Wow, looks like a fair few are going to GD. A couple of friends and I were talking about going, but not sure now. If I do go, I\'ll be travelling up from Devon (very near Exeter actually) - so I\'ll do another post on here re lifts etc as and when I actually make my mind up!

Kinda nervous about meeting people - not been on this forum long. Its a 50/50 split \'cos I know it would be cool to meet up.......

I don\'t have any entries, but it was 1997 the last time I went, so maybe its \'bout time I went again...!

Shame the \'T\' shirts wont be available...

As Chern Ann is considering branching out into the clothing market, it\'s a shame there wont be \'T\' shirts available this year for ease of identification.
From what I can see however, a good maxim might be \'I\'ll be the one with grey hair\'lol:bouncy:

As to number of categories, I reckon I\'m entering five: Large scale model, fantasy monster, fantasy single, LoTR, and one more, though I\'m not sure which

I\'m currently battling with my Fantasy monster entry: a dragon who really doesn\'t seem to want to be painted

i ate the lead i\'m afraid. still wouldn\'t want to run amock amongst the gw guys there. its the bloody lawyers and management \'evil\' guys that are making them take over the world that annoy me. oh and the guys who designed the paint pots! arrrgh

want to enter golden daemon but have nothing anywhere close to finishing. we shall see

If I could go to GD you can bet I\'d be entering 40k single, fantasy single, large scale, and maybe a few others (open for sure). But hey, if I can\'t make it to Toronto then what are the odds I can make it several thousand miles further to the UK lol
