I\'m crossing my fingers and hoping for nice sunshine so that the social meeting can move to the nice outside seating area at the hotel and we can puff away to our hearts content.. getting in and out via the demon section is easy eough in fact getting out of the NEC full stop is a lot easier than the damn maze that is the NIA.........

It isn\'t easy, but worth it.

The GD will pretty much be my 5th aniversary, I know because I got married and gave up in the same year/month and my wedding aniversary is the 17th.

Apart from the odd drunken half fag (VERY drunk, then very sick!) I don\'t feel like a smoker.

I do .. although I don\'t drink so much these days/.... mind you my birthday this Saturday coming so may have to get my entries cracked on with to free up drink and recovery time....

That was the ONLY reason why I did not attend the 2007 GD Uk, I thought I am banned in Diorama...:D...

It used to be in the UK back in the day that if you took any trophy in a category you couldn\'t enter that category the following year ... Instead you entered a Veteran category...

I personally think it would be a brilliant thing for GD to introduce a veterans category in a similar style ..
especially in GDUK where The \"Open\" competition is purely which eavy metal painter is gonna win... no mtter how good the rest are.........:beer:

Damn I wish I was going this year - Its been 10 years since my last visit and I still paint like a monkey with delusions of granduer, it sounds like you guys are gonna have a lot of fun ;) it would be nice to come along just to put faces to the names

Good luck everyone and I look forward to seeing pics here on CMON and maybe next year Il try and actually make some improvments and enter the demon for those who dont paint to well but like to try lol :rolleyes: :innocent:

This is going to be my 3rd Games Day and my first time painting something for Golden Demon.
I am doing an Inquisitor. I expect to be collecting it very early :D

So... is there a thread I\'ve missed for the social meet-up or is it burried somewhere on this thread?

I think the Platoon Britannica (Team Harrow) guys will all be arriving about 11:00am to avoid the early rush and still hopefully have time to get out entries in in pleanty of time.

Would be good to see everyone again!

Phew! Got the last ticket in the shop today. Had completely forgot!

Unfortunatly my tear gas has yet to arrive so I\'ll have to make do with threats of soap and water to get through the crowds.
