aaaah yes... totally tooshy\'d... that must have been one hell of a sight, the two of us almost literally crawling round kensington with my griping every two steps about how ill i felt and swearing that i was never going to drink again... :~(

Lucky I could remember where the shop was *shiver* that was the worst hang-over I have ever had :|~

But then again, it really was the morning after the night (well, technically the lunch) before... I wish I had kept my no-drink oath now though...

Been to the Oxford street store...

Pretty cool, but most GW stores are all about the same.

When is UK GD? I want to be on the GW UK site that day so that I can get the coverage as it comes in (that is to say before the stuff of legends coverage comes out!).

hey, let me know when you are next over... thats the store i work in (very infrequently)!!

Oh nice! I\'m staying in London till Oct 12, and I\'m going to Kensinghton for sure -- when I\'m in London, I always go to the beautiful Armenian church a couple of blocks away from the GW store. And, frankly, I do quite a lot of shopping in Kensinghton because there\'s a) less tourists b) beautiful architecture. I think I even have a picture next to that GW store from my Christmas visit last year. Just for the hell of it :)

Mike, are you going on the coach again?

Back on topic, I would have said the Holiday Inn- that has been quite cheap in the past, but that\'s for a family room...
???

That would be great! And Peter gets to decide on the venue, since all the pubs I\'ve been to in London are, for some weird reason, either in Covent Garden or nearby %))

Wow, impressive. But spoiled as I am, I need a little bit more comfort than a sleeping bag :)

Yes Peter I did mean you, and looks like I remembered you as the wrong person, I am now going to guess at *trawls back in mind* A biel Tan army painted in very light shades of the traditional aspect colours and a farseer on jetbike conversion ???

Isn\'t I sad how I remember gamers by what models they have

I\'d have probably been the guy with an ork army with 9 killer kans... or a somehow unstoppable Crimson Fist army that without being beardy i any way created a name for itself!

-Peter

EDIT: I also probably wasnt wearing my spiderman outfit...

Hmm dont remember an orc army, but it was too long ago (thinking back to early 2000) not really important anyway and I have kind of derailed this thread something rotten now :innocent:

well, if you order it online beforehand it\'ll be something inbetween 30 to 45 pounds me thinks...notts to london is 26, so add a bit, guess a little...I\'d check on

http://www.virgintrains.co.uk/default.aspx

but why on earth would you fly to stanstead? it\'s so much easier to get to birmingham from East Midland airport....(called Nottingham, but is actually closer to birmingham I beleive)
