I\'m going by myself this year, and I am entering WFB single.

I will definitely make the meet, although I\'ve got a seminar at half two (hey, it was a free gift after all :p)

Really looking forward to Nigel\'s (Talonicus) Duel (eyed the conversion and the construction of it on Sunday at PB - Hi Nigel) all others entering this category - BEWARE!
Sounds Interesting!! :)

Don\'t want to jinx him but I will be placing money on that one!

It was looking totally sweet... :D

It looked bloody good last year, Rob/Demonherald nicked the Gold thought, it was still bloody good though.

I don\'t expect anything this year, I did last year and I was gutted. This year will most likely be my last, I\'m loosing enthusiasm to paint GW stuff. That\'s why I want to complete 3 entries, my record for entries.

2010 will be the year of the Euromilitare ;)

2011 will be the Wold Expo year :D

Yeah but he\'s got to paint it yet and he\'ll fluff that southern bog dweller he is .. what\'s the rule nigel?? if it\'s a bitch to paint right cover it in mud???

I\'m in mid bewilderment and decision making phase currently . having lost interest in my current Gd stuff and now looking at starting afresh while realising that I have a lot of holidays between now and GD as well as things to paint to make money and it\'s all a little hairy.

I can say that I have settled on several key ideas and will see which works out best first.

They are in.
Vehicle
fantasy regiment
fantasy 40k and LOTR single
large scale
and possibly monster either fantasy or 40K depending on how many skulls I can lay my hands on may have to fill out with marine helmets got tons of those.

either way I will be there with or without entries but I certainly ain\'t sweating it this year way too many real life important things to deal with this year...

Had a couple of good long days painting, the Dio is very near completion. The Duel is very close to completion, for what it\'s worth

40k single is cleaned and filled ready to paint, every bloody year I try to do more than one entry, last year I did two, this year could well be three. I\'ll just coat it in mud and gore lol Should be good for a Bronze.

Nigel: Fess up with Photobucket account link!

I\'m suddenly going through a moment of \'should I bother\' at the moment. I\'ve got a huge amount of inspiration for painting at present, and have lots of things I want to paint, but I have no desire to do things with GD in mind at the mo\'. Last year was bizarre - I had got some stuff already done, and thought I\'d take my chances - had no idea I\'d be even going to GD. This year I\'ve been more and more taken with getting another little pin (which is a fairly sad ambition, but I believe it\'s noble ;) ), but as the day creep ever closer, I\'m finding myself thinking I really just want to paint things up on a \'when it\'s done, it\'s done\' kind of mentality. At this point, I\'ve got all the bits and pieces I need for about three or four entries, but they all need a lot of love and care - as an impatient sod, this is all rather foreign to my way of working! It hasn\'t helped that - much to my great suprise - folk actually like paying me to paint up stuff, which kind of eats away at the limited spare time I\'ve got...

The other bugger is that I\'ve never (ever) been able to concentrate on more than one project at a time - multi-tasking seems to be something other folk can do with ease, yet I\'m useless at it :( .

So, I suppose we\'ll just have to see how things pan out - if it means taking a year off GD and having some half-decent stuff for 2010, that may well be how it\'ll work out. One thing\'s for certain, no way I\'ll be entering Duel this year - it\'s always my fave category, but with all you talented folks in it duking it out, I\'m more happy viewing and admiring (probably writing notes...) than doing it.

Man, that all sounds like I\'m on a downer, which isn\'t true at all! Don\'t think I\'ve ever been happier with a brush really :D

All entries in by 12. First cut by 1pm, that\'s when all the finalists go into the \'finalist cabinet\'. By 3-4pm the three winners are put on the top shelf of the finalists cabinet. 4.30 alot more shouting and handing out of trophies.

The times are approximate, I can never remember...

Ben, turn up, enter your pieces, have a quick look around and then go to the bar (the food is nice but a bigger ripoff than the UKs EU contribution!)
