I\'m there with bells on and lots of big diorama\'s

This is a fantastic idea.

There will be a few of us going up from the home counties area. If anyone wants a lift from St Albans up to notts we\'ll have two spaces in the car.

I have checked/ requested with work to make sure I can get the day off to attend, all being well they will agree to it and I will be able to come along with a mini or two.

Bump!

I cannot go, my god-daughter is having a birthday party that day (not showing up would be bad form!). BUT I will be there in soul and hope it is a real success!

Are there T-Shirts available for the GD (any colour but white!! Not good for the waist line or my inability to not spill coffee!). Blue would look good, also as a counterpoint to the Spanish Orange.

:D

Count me in!!!!! :D
Warhammer World is my local store!! :drunk:
Honestly though it is really awesome well done for achieving this with such a \"customer friendly\" company. I\'m fairly chummy with the store manager and he said there would be some painting things coming up what with a new events bloke, but i really didn\'t expect anything like this.

By the way is this exclusive ie. tickets etc. or are we going to be mingling with people who just happen to be there ie gamers etc? If so will it not be a bit full.

Anyway hopefully i might have a model finished by then!lol

@Donga

Its a shame you can\'t make it mate. Would of been good to catch up.
I will be heading to Nottingham for the Saturday night. Its my 40th Bday 2 days later and this seems the perfect excuse to get some beer in me.

Anybody else staying over?

I live too close to stay over, I am in Sheffield though I am going to be there on the Sunday with The Basement Crowd.

We have arranged a table or two for display and we are going to be demonstrating painting techniques and we hope to have a sculpptor there too.

There is up to now 7 or 8 of us.

Going to be a good day I can feel it.

not necessarily the jack. could be the union flag, it is team britania (not team england) after all

the union flag/jack represents england, ireland and scotland.
the welsh wanted a red dragon adding to it to have part of their flag combined within it just like irelands and scotlands had been intergrated, but it hasn\'t happenend yet.

so it wouldn\'t truly represent us all would it.

besides, i think putting enfasise on nationality is silly.
we are all just talking monkeys after all, just born/live in different parts of the world.

well as its platoon brittania just have Brittania on there then there would be no imperialistic complaints
