Flunk, the one thing i'd advise is black lining the designs to make them pop. Maybe not even all the way, like shadows maybe... Line under but sharpen the top. This thing has reeeal potential and you;re doing sweet at it. The only thing that caught my eye is lack of definition, mate ;)

(I always feel like a c**t when I give advice! )

Krylon Matte Finish is good too. I have learned in my old age that everyone who uses GW products are only buying into the name. And I was told about from a Golden Demon winner. If itworks for him, it can't be that bad.

The only great thing about GW is Citadel Paint...Oh wait, that's a slave company...

khargrim as soon asw im done it will be in the mail :D

@torn blue sky, yes id have to agree with you on the black lining and you certainly shouldnt feel cunty about giving opinions/advice hehe...i dont claim to be any sort of expert so advice is always welcome. I did that sort of underlining shadow on the front and yes it makes it pop out way more so i definatly will make sure to include it on the back.

I really love the freehand on this model. It looks amazing! This is what I always imagined a Farseer would look like - really gritty and moody, but lush and opulent. really awesome miniature, cant wait to see it completed!

AWSOME! make the cloak underneath brighter, I have heard that if you now highlight/glaze over the freehand it looks less like freehand and more like part of the cloak amazing tho. love the freehand.

ansel! your just a font of knowledge, I did a red glaze over the cape and it worked out. Definately looks more integrated in the cloak...

so i changed the arm completely to a more dainty sword because i felt the stock sword was a little overkill in size for a farseer, and i think it opens up the model more nicely. heres the back, finished, just to do the arm and the base now and Im pretty much LES DONE!! Oh, and gonna redoe the hair a bit, not up to my standard for the time being.

:D ansel your aliiiiive...what prey tell have you been up to. I havent even seen a WIP from you lately, are you taking a break from painting?

time is scarce, but heres a small update. I painted the arm, and I noticed that just like drawing a hand, painting one takes just as long even when its so tiny. i did the sword kinda an aqua to stand out. Do you guys think its a little to much contrast?? If so, TOO BAD lol, i aint changin it, it would be nice to finish this farseer already and move onto something new. It wont be rushed however...

I like this a lot, though I am not a fan of the skin as compared to the rest of the model it seems a little basic.
