Well said!

It\'s like when my friends and I used to play Hired guns 4 player, and everyone would always want to be Cheule or CIM because they had the most kick-ass guns :)

VIK in viking is another name of fjord (in norwegian). This is because most vikings were from the areas around the Oslofjord.

Danes had vikings and they also had norway sweden and the uk !!!:D

So dont be to cocky norway dude , we will get it all back one day lol

Swedish vikings only rampaged in finland and estonia, and denmark didn\'t have vikings, because denmark were much like the germans. So the real vikings were from norway

sorry didn\'t get the whole quote .

Another vote for Space Wolves here! I don\'t paint many of them these days, though, I kinda burnt myself out on Shadow Gray. I\'ve painted a LOT of them in the past.

I hate this new \"darker\" feeling 40k. I miss the 2nd and 3rd edition feel. I have a feeling they are going to try to change SW\'s main color to Codex Grey in the next codex.

As for Ultras - I like \'em too. I just painted my first not too long ago. They have a really solid color scheme, and they are easy to design individual heraldry for. I don\'t understand the intense hatred for a particular color of toy soldier. Am I missing something?

Even more nostalgically, I miss when Marines were in Camo.

Never had a problem with Ultra\'s, my first marine was painted Red, because I liked blood Red. When Capter Approved came out I liked the Blue/Yello combo so painted most of my beakies as Ultras.

Lately I\'ve actually been reading over the first Chapter Approved for inspiration. I really loved the art they used in their books back then. I\'ve been really into painting up classic lead lately.

I spent most of last night looking over classic Citadel on Stuff of Legends. I found out that I have the first ever Grot... it was called Space Goblin. First ever Space Marine as well.

I was inspired to do this when a newer gamer was at my place last weekend and was leafing through my copy of Capter Approved, Warhammer Siege and other old books. He was most inspired by the comedy of the game back in those days. Things like the Orc Dreadnaugts, the Skreeeeech! template for Squat Bikers, the robots you programmed, etc.

edited for spelling and I probably missed some, these 12hour midnight shifts are killing me.
