My grandfarther gave me mine quite a long time ago.

Mum & Dad could not agree. One wanted John and the other Christopher. I was born with argument unresolved and name was needed for certificate. To settle argument Grandfarther stuck a pin into births, deaths and marriages column of Yorkshire Evening Post.

Luckily for me the pin went into Ian. Names like Ethel or Alice would have been difficult and might have held me back.

Second time around my Mum & Dad got lucky. Male twins.

Pestie, is a shortened version of Pestilence -obviously one of the four horsemen. the name came as I was an founder member of Team Apoclaypse Paintball team in the UK.

I got given pestielnce, rather than one of the more cool names (like Death or War), cos I had over 3 different skin diseases at the time.:wow:

Once upon a day, not to long ago, I wanted a nickname for myself. I started to think of some kind of fantasystylish name. I came up with Fayarin.

Fayarin hasn\'t been a nickname for me all the time. I started to prefer it when Fayarin became a character herself. Kind of like a child off mine, not quite though. I like to \'develop\' Fayarin every day a bit more, create her.

So \'Who\'s Fayarin?\' would be a better question, but with to little people wanting to know, I\'ll spare you.

Took NecroN back when I was like 12 when I first found BBSs. Went through a list of names like 30 names and picked that one. Well actually I picked Technomancer, but the boards back when only allowed for 8-10 characters. Was NecroN ever since.

Regretfully GW put out that horrible sci-fi undead army and now the name is everywhere. Would much rather switch over to Gilvanblight as I use it everywhere else.

As for the Horsemen - the version I was taught was Death, Famine, War and Deliverance

My name? MarkusTay = Mark Taylor. Years ago in the stoneage of the internet (88?) I created an account on my sister\'s AOL and named myself Nos4@2, and then proceeded to get bothered by a whole bunch of Vampire-wannabes LARPers in the AOL chatrooms. It was fun for awhile, but some of those people are waaaay to into it and I faked my own \'death\' (I cancelled the screename after a dramatic online assassination). I then got my own AOL account and decided to be normal (boring) for a change. Since MarkTay was already taken, I became MarkusTay and have used that name on every forum and usenet group since. I always use a Lobo (DC comics) Avatar on every site, and had originally here, but for some reason I have differentiated this site from all the others and change my avatar often. Might be time to go back to Lobo for awhile; I miss him.

As far as the Biblical thing goes, I think Reaper miniatures answered that...

I would think that folks on a minis site would be able to answer any question with minis.


BTW - Does anyone now, or has anyone in the past, ever made a line of biblical minis? I mean aside from the usual Nativity stuff you see in Walmart.

I\'ve seen stuff representing most other major religions from the past (Greek, Egyptian, Norse, even Babylonian), but never anything from the Judao-Christian Mythos. I think painting a Charlton Heston like Moses figure would be very cool, and maybe a mini based on Michaelangelo\'s \"God creates Adam\"
