Eric Louchard has a nice tutorial on painting skin with gel paints, and I\'ve used the method a few times with some success.
It\'s interesting to see, as the tubes are thick, that the initial layers require no thinning, and the subsequent layers require very little thinning------all the time the paint is still going on amazingly smooth.
Granted, they take a little getting used to, as they work much differently than a typical \"hobby\" paint.
