Using modeling sand for the base

nice basing... yeah I have also begun mixing my snad types... I did a test CD case with different ratios of outside sand with modeling sand. Ill paint them up quickly and post it.

Getting the paint...

My first tries painting up my grey primed dirt. This stuff is annoying... I\'m finding that you need to use un-thinned paint to cover the tops of sand bits, but that takes A LOT of paint and a lot of time to do something so simple. Anything thin just sinks into recesses... Putting on a thicker layer of glue before putting ont he sand might stop so much absorbtion of paint???

Careful with applying too much glue as the sand can go wierd and \'wrinkle\' What I tend to do if I need more stick or problems is just dilute glue less
