Hey,

Just wondering what\'s happened to those Vostroyans we painted up for GD UK last year? I haven\'t heard any news in a while. Are they still destined for eBay?

Yes please, some news would be greatly appreciated as it is over a year now since they were delivered and the Vostroyan buzz has waned.

For those involved I think it\'s fair to get some public response.

The last update was in March

EDIT 2: WTF? Seems like my use of some letters not known to the forum has severly messed it up. I can\'t get rid of all the numbers and stuff!

Sven, those codes in your post are Line Feed characters and Carriage Return characters. Don\'t know how you got them there though...

This is at best tragic and at worst *****ng disgusting behaviour. Slight hyperbole, but still an entirely unacceptable situation for everyone involved. Out of curiosity, was any reply made by pm to the earlier (repeated) requests for info? As Orb says, a public response is needed. Krom has made light of the situation and everyone is (as usual) being very polite about the whole thing, but I would be fuming if I had given my time and money to this endeavour, and ignoring the subject makes the situation worse.

I had no idea who that guy was, he was just saying Bømp! lol

Conclave, I agree - I\'d appreciate some word of what the current situation is, at least.

Been away from Coolmini for a few days, due to work and a few other personal matters.

1: Sorry to have missed a: this thread and b: all the bumps on it.
2: Yes the Vostroyans are safe and are destined for Ebay
3: Yes I should have moved my arse into gear along time ago but Family Health Circumstances have had to take precedent.

So I would like to suggest that the charity we donate the sale of these figures to is one of the breast Cancer Charities.

There\'s a very good reason for this suggestion from my point of view:- As quite a few of you will know my wife has been operated on and undergone both Chemo and Radiotherapy for Breast Cancer. She\'s now out of the \"Aggressive\" treatment and is in the Long term more \'passive\' treatment and is gradually returning to work.
The prognosis is that if she gets to five years without and re-occurrance then she\'ll be designated as \"Clear\".

So If I have the consent of Everyone involved then I will nominate one of the charities for your approval and start the ball rolling on Ebay.

Glad to see a response, Mike, and very glad to hear your wife is improving; know it\'s a long journey, but wish her well.

As to changing charities...much prefer this over what was penciled in before.

I\'m fine with the suggested change

Roll that ball and keep us informed

Thanks for replying Mike, that sounds great. Glad to hear Fran is getting better - both my parents had cancer a few years ago, and it was horrible. they\'re better too now :)
