Sounds good to me, and good to hear the missus is doing a lot better!
Just an update.
War Griffon PM\'d me about the status so I thought I\'d best bring you all back up to speed on what has been happening. (Honest I haven\'t sat on my ar*e doing nothing, well I have but for good reasons)
When this got flagged in November about doing something about them I suggested that we aim to use them to raise money for Breast Cancer Charities which was received nicely by you all. So following on from that approval I started to try use Fran\'s contacts within the Breast Cancer. support forums to get some ideas on which Charities are the most \"Supportive\" to sufferers.
I was very surprised to get a hit back from someone who was interested and was willing to make an offer without having to go to Ebay. So I was discussing this back & forth with them, explaining abou the hobby in general terms. (The person is into collectables rather than the hobby). Unfortunatley several things have got in the way and messed up.
One of Fran\'s friends in Bolton, who had gone through the same treatment at the same time as Fran, was told that the cancer had spread to her lungs and it was terminal. As you can imagine that\'s knocked my wife for six, as her friend was only 33.
Fran was then told she\'d been moved up the list for Reconstructive Surgery which has also been a shock.
Then Fran\'s father died, I don\'t think I need to explain what that has meant to her and I .
Fran had no sooner recovered from that then we had the extra distress of finding out her friend had died.
So the last 3-4 months have been quite distressing for both of us and to be honest coping with work and these things pushed the Vostroyans to the back burner.
Anyhow I\'ve been back in contact with the person who was originally interested but their offer ended up way below what would have the purchase price of the raw figures and after some further discussion they have decided not to pursue it any further. Annoying but that is the way things happen sometime.
So I\'m now awaiting a contact from one of the charities to get some \"official support\" as they can be a bit \"funny\" over toy soldiers and the whole relation to \"death\" thing.
All being well, which I\'m hoping it will be, I\'m aiming to get the Figures up on Ebay before Easter so that I can get everything auctioned and posted when I\'m off on leave and while Fran\'s back in Hospital for her breast reconstruction.

I\'m intending it to go up as a single acution....I\'ll have to do some slight improvement/repair to the scenic base as a corner has slightly warped.
