I really want to know what some designers are thinking . . . I am doing my dress shopping today but I have been looking online for ideas. And some of these came up . . . really want to know who would buy these (as wedding gowns)!

You're looking at dresses made in Texas, aren't you?

They're like the Ford Pinto. Even the Pinto had a few die-hard fans. Much like American Flag dresses.

oh god! I don't know . . . they are all ugly! And so ridiculous. I mean if I were going to a ball at the White House on the 4th of July I'd pick the full length red white and blue gown but who would wear that for their wedding?! I mean really!

I'd probably choose the white one and get tons of alterations done to it.

Now, now. These all have decent explanations!

The first dress, obviously the soon-to-be wife of a barber.

The second one's fiance is obviously a Lord of the Rings elf fan. Throw in some pointy ears and greenery and she's there.

The third is obviously going to be Mrs. Rogers, or Mrs. Barnes.

First one looks to be made of Nylon sailcloth.
number 2, is that a Hardanger table cloth for the train? I kinda like the look on this one, it has a Southern Belle feel to it.
number 3, Ahhmmm. Is she going to start spinning batons after the ceremony?

Sparklers and singing "America the Beautiful" I'm sure. The handbag is what makes it "elegant" however. I don't get it. Is the woman supposed to be declaring her love for her husband in that dress, or her love for America? Who comes first in that relationship?

what dress size are ya, skinney birds the slinkey full lenght figure hugger, all tits n ass then something that will highlight it but with a bit of lenght so you dont look stout, the larger lady then something like number 2 low cut to make the best of the fun bags.

Me? Well after losing 25lbs I'm a size 8/10 and I'm 5'2". So not skinny tall lanky type like the rest of my family. Instead I'm solid Sicilian stock. :D

still going to have to go with the slinky because of yer height nice six inch heel show off a lovely bit of calve also makes the bum look tight and pert. my advice is definately optional tho lol.

Oh don't worry we'll have the link to the album posted on here for all you to see. TBS shall be in a skirt as well :p I picked out and ordered my dress tonight. It is beautiful. I can't share it publicly though since TBS doesn't want to see it. But anyone who is curious can email me or just wait until the end of May 2011. :D

Oh and no Star Wars theme. We are doing a traditional wedding with a Celtic flair!
