What is happening on Ebay???

. Put a great mini up for shirt buttons, with a link to your website and blog, and CMON of course, and fish for commissions/sell the rest of your pieces from your own site.

If you have a good ebay reputation that\'ll help buyer\'s confidence.

Yup. Then I discovered that I could bring my minis in to work while I waited for the computer to finish. Getting a BUNCH of hobby work done. Prior to that, I had a big target drawn on the white board where I\'d bang my head whilst waiting. Had to redraw it and wash my forehead a couple times a day.

Granddad!
OK then...

I just did a listing fee calculation of a 40K painted mini on G2T/WM

starting price: £150
Reserve Price opt: Yes
Buy it now opt: Yes
Plus when it\'s sold there are no FVF\'s either
listing fee: 0.00

So just for arguments sake, say it sold for £175, what would that have cost on ebay?

I am really glad that this issue was brought up. I was planning on painting a couple of minis to build up enough spare cash to buy a french bulldog puppy but from the sound of it that will not happen with the amount of buying on ebay. Sucks too, I want a pooch.

Serioualy, all my current bits are commission... usually I find something nice on ebay to bid on but I\'m just not finding much.

I guess the credit crunch has hit hard artists are reluctant to spend so many hours on something that loads of us can\'t really afford to pay the best price for.

It\'s a shame because so many minis are worth loads but there\'s just not the pool of collectors with disposable cash.

P.S. Neil has way more than me... by a factor of A LOT! hehehe
