@Valloa & Anatora - um... wow. That\'s something else entirely. A whole store (or 1/2 each I guess) in your houses... I think I\'d go mad with all that unpainted pewter around.

@Valloa - Mango is 1/2 of my feline contingent, his brother Chutney is the other half... and they generally stay off my painting table, though they have been known to try to drink my paint water!

@Anatora - it is indeed an Alien Queen, I\'ll save you some PS time:

You are lucky. My cats had to be banned from any place where I paint or do minis. I have one that loves to horde miniatures, she\'ll go to lengths to steal any kind of mini and hide them in little piles. The others are too jealous of my painting to be allowed in there with me or just plain love my brushes and to chew on them too much. :/

Thank god my sister\'s cats don\'t chew on brushes (or at least where I can catch them). Some of us Seattle people got together and chatted, and one of the things that came up was kitty mini thieves. Cats don\'t do that either. Yay! They have been known to go after the paint water too though. lol

@ Anatora & Valloa - I guess that explains the peg walls. I guess some people might go that far, but I don\'t see many people doing that unless they already had it to begin with. Wonder whatever became of all the lovely slotwall displays from the old WotC game stores. Where do old game displays go to die? :~(

I am courious what is the little guy to the left of the queen, white shirt and firearm, I think I have two of the same guy stuck in my \"really old mini\" drawer, but have no idea who he is, any chance of getting a close up of him too?

He\'s also in my gallery, here. You probably don\'t have one, since he\'s not \"really old\". He\'s a Pulp Figures mini, only a few years old actually.

I guess WOTC\'s slatwall displays went the same way ours did...Recycled...Almost every store in our town has a piece of Wyvern Game\'s furnishings in them.

My own space!

We\'re moving! From a three room apartment to the four room right next door! It\'s actually a five room, but one of the rooms is so small (like 80-100 sq. ft., 8-10 sq. m.) so it doesn\'t really count as a room...my wife is almost throwing this room at me, talking about \"... your Warhammer...blah, blah....don\'t have to move it all the time...blah,blah...\"! I\'m gonna get my own painting room! And the table I\'ve been making fits in the room just perfectly!

There\'s gotta be a catch here somewhere......

@marineboy- Way to go! A space of your own, nothing is sweeter! I took over 1/2 of our Gym/storage room about 6 months ago, and it took my wife about 3 months to realize it (no-one ever went in there. It\'s great, you won\'t have to put all your stuff away in cabinets every night. lol

@NSA - Nice work area, very neat and tidy. I really like the display cabinets, are they Ikea? I like your queen too, I voted on her just recently (I was checking your gallery to get an idea of what might be coming my way).

@Valloa & Anatora - I am truly humbled. Your work areas and your collections far supercede my own paltry offerings.

We are not joking when we offer extra minis for conpetitions. We really mean it!

@NSA I love dragons, bugs from Starship Troopers, Predators, and Aliens. I can get away with protecting all from Valloa\'s paintbrush. She has all the Alien sets (except the Loader), but keeps them hidden from me.

Yeah...thinking back on it, I should\'ve grabbed some when they started closing them down. They\'d be real handy for shelves and things in my house. Oh well.

@ marineboy - oh no! Can you argue using logic? Like, \"If I have my own room, I can confine the metal bits, sharp pointy things, toxic chemicals, and dangerous particulate shavings to one room rather than being in the way of everyone else.\"

I have no idea how many times I\'ve gone \"woops!\" and sent something flying across the dining room into the living room trying to snip pieces off of figures. That could put someone\'s eye out!

It\'s always worse when you can\'t find said wayward piece of metal and it ends up being stepped on. Yup.

Fortunately, while I\'m in a common area, neither my sister nor her boyfriend poke around in that are much. Between the bits of metal, precariously perched boxes, and downright foul smelling stuff I have over there (thinners, mineral spirits, glue, rubbing alcohol), I don\'t think anyone wants to.

Except the cats...when they go after the paint water. BAD CATS!
