What\'s your workspace like?

Well my space has been re-located to yet another room in the house and is presently looking like this
Yes I know it looks tidy but thats because I need to travel each week and so I run 2 sets of paint etc one I keep in work the other set and most of the other junk I keep at home.
The top draw has all my home paints in it and the next draw down has all the glues varnish bits and brushes etc normally it isn\'t this tidy when I am at home as I tend to leave the paints I am using on the desk.
What are the mini\'s that are on the desk at the moment well there is a Grenadier Swamp Dragon that I painted up in the 80\'s and just tok a quick shoy of for KittyKat the others are an old GW Spacer and a GW Dredd figure along with Esmirelda and some 10mm warmaster stuff the Orc on the right is a Westwind model and will probably be my entry to Salute next weekend if he is finished in time.

See that Tackle box? It\'s full and there are seven more in the attic just like it. See those plastic boxes on the left under the (full) boxed sets? They hold about 75 minis each and I have 10 of those. See the drawer... There are about a dozen unopened boxed sets in there (mostly Warmachine) along with lots of unopened Reaper. I also have several LARGE boxes in the attic with gaming stuff, including lots more figures. Out of all that, I think I\'ve painted about a hundred. I\'m afraid to figure out exactly how much I have, because I\'d probably get depressed. I might have bought a second home with all the money I\'ve spent in the last twenty five years. Now everyone can understand why my wife HATES MY HOBBY?!lol
Gin, when I got married I had about 20 hobbies. My wife told me I had to cut it back to one. Since gaming actually covers several hobbies I chose it, and much to her chagrin I now concentrate on this one as much as I used to spread amongst the twenty.
And yes... EricJ is my trading partner and I think he will consider himself lucky. At least, I hope so. The alternate I\'m sending is enough to get most of us sexually stimulated.lol

Ok Here are a couple of pictures of my paint desk, due to the daycare I use a roll top desk in order to keep little hands out of my paints and such.
one thing to keep in mind when looking at this, first it is all self contained nothing else stored else where! and the desk is
2 1/2 feet wide and and 3 1/2 feet High! Pretty small!

Do you have a peg-board in the garage with all the tools outligned so you now where each thing goes?

Nope to the peg board, but then thats my husbands area!
Unfortuantly due to my job, I have to be organized, other wise I am a total slob, I truely feel there are more important things
in life than cleaning

@Gin - Congratulations on the 200th post!!!!
@Markus - OMG!!! Grumb just showed me two big boxes of unpainted minis and I was amazed because I didn\'t know he had so many. (This isn\'t including all the ones on the paint desk and the WIP\'s.) He doesn\'t have squat compared to you! *wipes brow* Whew - I feel better now!
@Marineboy - Nope we\'re not using that antique mantel for workspace! We\'ve finally attached it to the wall in the newly re-modeled den, but it still needs a little touch-up. After I\'ve painted the walls a nicer color than Bright Contractor White I\'ll post a pic of it. If both Grumb and I are painting at the same time we haul everything out to the crappy old pool table the owner left when we bought the house. It\'s big enough I don\'t screw up Grumb\'s stuff with flying purple paint! lol (I think I painted for only a couple of days before the carpeting became my first victim!)
We\'re actually looking now for something like what Nailpainter has (china cabinet thingy) to use out by the pool table for storage so we don\'t have to haul the stuff from one room to another. Hopefully the boys will start painting with us more often.

The view of my hobby table as taken from the chair in front of the computer. A bit cluttered, but with the coming of spring and spring cleaning, I plan on fixing that.
One of these days I\'ll actually finish that Devilman and Silene statue too, it\'s been listed in my gallery as a WIP forever now.
