Are you really allowed to ask this of a lady? And a married one at that!
:flip:

as long as he doesn\'t say \"can I see your succubus *nudge nudge wink wink*\" it is all on the up and up!

BTW Finn, your new avatar is much more brooding....almost scary!!!

My workspace consists mainly of blood, sweat , tears and greenstuff....... oh, and there are some tools, brushes, lumps of pewter, etc as well...but they are all stained with blood, sweat and tears. Still, that is what makes it all seem worthwhile...sometimes...

Funny she keeps saying i\'m lucky to have her?

Of course there are my paints
I notice you store your Vallejos (some of them at least) upside down - is this just so you can see the colour or does it reduce the shaking needed?

In addition to this I have a 5\'x3\'x8\' closet space for miniature modeling supplies. And there\'s about 600 sq feet of my basement dedicated soley to games, comics and models. Not to mention the work I do in the garage and the basement workshop (bases, filing, conversions...messy stuff)

Just wondering where you keep the old man?

Can\'t possibly answer for Angela, but it keeps the air out.:flip:

You can do the same with GW bottles but they will flob all over you when you open themlol

I try and keep my Metallics upside down because all the metal flakes will go to the bottom. Could be the same theroy,I must say I would prefer pigment to fixative if they were seperated too much, even after shaking.

Yes to both. The pigment particles tend to settle. And as Chrispy mentioned, its better to have pigment rather than binding fluid. Only thw GW\'s are kept upright, due to pissy bottle design. But I do shake all my paints anyways, just some of the vallejo bottles can problematic. I also put small glass beads in there too to help agitate the mix.

My husband keeps that in his pants. ;)

Peace!

On the wall is a big picture of Cyril\'s nurgle lord. :)

If any of you happens to spend holidays/weekend in Paris, there\'s a store you can see lots of Cyril\'s stuff...

PM for details :)

Since a picture is worth a thousand words...

Unless you use the wrong picture, then you are 1k words in the hole.

Anyways, here are some pictures of my current workspace.

Painting Space

Storage Space

Display Case

Funny story about the display case, a friend of mine who knows a guy who has a jewlery shop picked this up for me for $50. When he was telling me about it, I thought it was going to be a small plexiglass counter top display case.. this thing is a monster, and all glass (not fun to lug to the second floor)

I\'ve also since mounted some silverware trays on the wayy to act as racks to hold things I\'m working on.

big red- that IS messy!! mines pretty bad though. the difference is i spread my stuff throughout the house! i do all my painting at home, in taunton when i come back at the weekends. my old man made me a large worksurface when he put flooring in the loft - bless him. so i work up there and can make all the mess i want!!

i do all my prepping/sculpting etc downstairs and my bedroom is a tip as is the area surrounding my seat in the dining room - so i can watch tv at the same time. all my scenery stuff i do outside in the garage where all the big tools are - mostly my own but i borrow a few from my dad.

trouble is i\'m moving permanently to cardiff now to a shared house and i don\'t think that there\'s anywhere i can paint - i\'m too messy. and i think that the grils would have a problem if i started spilling paint on the carpet. gonna have to do some serious thinking. maybe buy a big ol\' dustsheet and double that up - i can roll it away then. hmm???

That\'s the kiddie! A proper painting desk! Blood stains, teeth marks the works...

Clearly the domain of a tortured artistic soul with more WIPS than bondage parlour....:D

SaxonAngel take note...lol

Your lucky to have the space - I\'m impressed by the mini drilllol - have you got a router in there as well by chance?

If I had that amount of stuff on show my other half would realise just how much of the household budget disappears each month and would not be best pleased.

That\'s why most of my stuff is still in boxes, hidden away.
- plus there\'s \"No Girls allowed in the room\" policy unless they know the Secret Password - and it changes constantly!! (beer, as a bribe, has been known to weaken my resolve)

The \"major pain in the butt\" is that I have to pack up my room because we\'re about to renovate/extend and the present hobby room will become an ensuite.

I have already put dibbs on one of the new rooms to be built as my NEW hobby room.

Hopefully it will be slightly more organised when it\'s all finished.

Nomis, I like routers, I have got a nice shiny Bosch one myself and more bits than you can shake a stick at, I am just amazed that there appears to be about half a dozen magazines in the UK entirely devoted to routing. There is no \'Drill Monthly\', \'What Saw?\' or \'Practical Hammerer\' out there to my knowledge, so what is it about the common-or-garden router that can generate such a market for magazines?
Needless to say I shan\'t be cancelling any of my subscriptions to Playboy, Viz,White Dwarf or Harbinger in order to find outlol
