Problem is that kids have worked it out, when I was at school we hadn\'t (although we did know which teachers we could \"mess\" with and which we couldn\'t).
Damn Ann Widdecome, although she has a point for this one, kids need discipline and boundaries, they just keep pushing otherwise.

Most Defiantly it will backfire. The more you allow them to do it the more they will. And this is allowing them to disrespect their, elders. The world had gone to hell. Plus all school should have a capital punishment rule. Imagine… all those lil red tooshies…. The student would think again before performing such a damning stunt… IMHO

I doubt physical punishment of any kind actually does any good. In my opinion it\'s legalised child abuse, which is pretty messed up. How can you tell children not to hurt each other, and then hurt them yourself when they do something wrong. That screams hypocricy and teaches them that it\'s ok to hurt each other if there\'s a \"good\" reason. You\'re basically teaching them that might makes right. Hitting them won\'t make the children respect you, they\'ll fear you.
Besides, if they brought back child abuse to the schools only the really sick fuckers would want to be teachers.

Funny, \'cos this is how most schools operate around these parts. Except it\'s the kids themselves that practice the physical abuse stuff.
And fear would be a very good starting point for teachers in this country to re-establish some semblance of order in some schools. Unfortunately at the rate we\'re going, we\'re going to need full time policing of our schools. That is the only other way forward that I can see. Prosecute the little bastards and send them to juvenile detention centres or fine their parents.....
Personally I think we should bring back national service as well.

God I hate school kids :flame: The education system in this country has been eaten away from the inside by Government meddling in affairs that they have no understanding in.
Basically the same situation here! The levels of knowledge among school kids have dropped dramatically in the last decades. What are the politicians planning to do about it? Well, they think the problem will go away if the schools start giving the kids grades earlier! That\'s one of the big issues in the political debate about the school situation!
I\'m bloody thankful I\'m past all that, now. Hooray for being grown up!!

I don\'t know, execution would be a pretty good way of dealing with some of the little arseholes round here!
And the point about national service, or a \'boot camp\' for delinquents would be more suitable, is that it would keep the core of little buggers out of schools making life better for everyone. Bollocks. my mam and dad disciplined me and my sisters physically. They did it reasonably. When they found me letting down tyres on a neighbours car I got a good walloping
When i was fighting another kid my dad smacked my legs. When I wandered off with my sister first time abroad my dad gave me a fair old spanking. I have an amazing relationship with my parents. Punishment in schools would be difficult to regulate, but I wouldn\'t say no to it. Saying that, i was a good boy
I suggest the parents need a good beating on occasion too.
Remember, children hunt in packs and savage teachers to the point of breakdown as soon as they know how to get to them. That deserves a caning to my mind.

Some time ago, I was involved with an English bint who lives on the Isle of Wight. Well, this woman\'s youngest got away with calling her a \"f\'ing c*unt\" not once, not twice, and certainly more than five times. After the little shit wore his tongue out at calling his mother a \"f\'ing bitch\" and his sister a \"f\'ing whore\", his mother looked at me and smiled, saying, \"he\'s better than he used to be\". Well, I would have dearly loved to have twisted that little shit\'s head from his shoulders, but she gave him absolutely no discipline. He\'d be banned from the computer for screwing it up, and five minutes later, he\'d be back on it, with not a word from his mother. A kid like that has zero respect for anything except himself, not his mother, and not his teachers.
All three of her kids spoke to each other in any manner they chose. But what can be expected from the kids of a mother who throws food at them in a public park during a tantrum? How her other two ended up as nice kids beats me.
If this is the current generation of teenagers in the UK, then I hope you English have lots more prisons, you\'re going to need them - Australia has been taken. lol
