Jambot, you\'d beat yourself to death with a stick after first talking about it for half an hour lol Your verbosity will stand you in good dtead I reckon. This place laps up talkers :D
You are almost correct. I\'d wait for someone to respond to my talk about the beating, then go into an hour long diatribe about why it\'s my right to talk about beating myself with a stick!

The killers

\"All These Things That I\'ve Done\"

When there\'s nowhere else to run
Is there room for one more son
One more son
If you can hold on
If you can hold on, hold on
I wanna stand up, I wanna let go
You know, you know - no you don\'t, you don\'t
I wanna shine on in the hearts of men
I want a meaning from the back of my broken hand

Another head aches, another heart breaks
I am so much older than I can take
And my affection, well it comes and goes
I need direction to perfection, no no no no

Help me out
Yeah, you know you got to help me out
Yeah, oh don\'t you put me on the back burner
You know you got to help me out

And when there\'s nowhere else to run
Is there room for one more son
These changes ain\'t changing me
The cold-hearted boy I used to be

Yeah, you know you got to help me out
Yeah, oh don\'t you put me on the back burner
You know you got to help me out
You\'re gonna bring yourself down
Yeah, you\'re gonna bring yourself down
Yeah, you\'re gonna bring yourself down

I got soul, but I\'m not a soldier
I got soul, but I\'m not a soldier
I got soul, but I\'m not a soldier
I got soul, but I\'m not a soldier
I got soul, but I\'m not a soldier
I got soul, but I\'m not a soldier
I got soul, but I\'m not a soldier
I got soul, but I\'m not a soldier

Yeah, you know you got to help me out
Yeah, oh don\'t you put me on the back burner
You know you got to help me out
You\'re gonna bring yourself down
You\'re gonna bring yourself down
Yeah, oh don\'t you put me on the back burner
Yeah, you\'re gonna bring yourself down

Over and in, last call for sin
While everyone\'s lost, the battle is won
With all these things that I\'ve done
All these things that I\'ve done
If you can hold on
If you can hold on

And noe for something completely different.

My favorite group is FRED.

You never heard of FRED?

They are a barbershop quartet, won international many years ago. Sang a lot of paordies. One of my favorite ones was \"Great big gutter ball\" which was based on \"Down town strutter\'s ball.\"

Roll it down the middle
\'cause they waxed it funny.
Better not scratch
or release it late.
Now, dear, please concentrate,
I wonder if we better all start praying?
Remember we bet all our money
The two step ... and now release the ball.
What a perfect followthrough
Standing there on only one shoe.
Now hold on tight ..................

It\'s a great big gutter ball.

Foo Fighters - Best of you
Coldplay - Fix you

Then some of my all time favs:
Eels - Rock my world
Stellastarr* - Jenny
Counting Crows - Murder of one

Another favourite is

Ian Brown - Time is my Everything

Many moons have passed
since our paths last crossed
Did you maybe lose your way?
\'cause time is my everything

Time is my everything
For you I\'d do anything
Under the sun

And child, don\'t you fear anything
For all of the wicked men,
shall have to stand in line
I know you\'re gonna see it in the fullness of time

I know you\'re gonna see it in the fullness of time

So many moons have passed
since our paths last crossed
You\'re gonna have to find a way,
time is my everything

Time is my everything
For you I\'d do anything
Under the sun

Child, don\'t you fear anything
For even the greatest men,
shall have to stand in line
I know you\'re gonna see it in the fullness of time

Ain\'t the devil happy
when two lovers break a bond they made?
Happy ever after when two lovers come as one again

I know you\'re gonna see it in the fullness of time

I know you\'re gonna see it in the fullness of time

OMG - Someone else has heard of They Might Be Giants!! I (and my kids!) LOVE Constantinople!

I have lots of favorite songs, but I think the one song that means the most to me is Aerosmith\'s \"Dream On.\" Heard that song on the way from the funeral home to the grave-side for my Grandfather\'s funeral and that song seemed as if it was written for that moment. It was years before I stopped crying whenever I heard it.

Now it just makes me smile because it reminds me of my bad-ass Grandpa. (He was Chief-of-Police in a small town and his nickname was Billy Bad-ass - he could scare the shit out of you with one look!)

My one regret is that he died 9 mos. before Grumb and I started dating. :(

I listen to almost every kind of music (except country and techno :D ) and it changes with my moods but at the moment are my favourites:

1. Flogging Molly (saw them live last week on concert and they were awesome!!)
2. Dropkick Murphys- Baroom Hero
3. Millencolin
4. Mighty Mighty Bosstones
5. Mad Caddies

Avelorn

Sven Jonsson
Impossible question for me, I\'d have to make a long list.

Right now I\'m listening to
The Roots ft. Ursula Rucker - Poem.

That is one of my favourites in spoken word.

Another fav. is
Radiohead - Exit Music (for a film)
Radiohead is perhaps my favourite contemporary pop band.

If I want to listen to something that reminds me of where I come from and who I am, I listen to any record by Isolation Years. Or David Sandströms record - Om det inte händer något innan imorgon så kommer jag.

If Isolation Years ever have a tour near you, be sure to visit the concert.
