Which manufacturer do you like the the most?

I haven\'t liked everything from any of those ranges. But I love certain Reaper figures, certain GW figures, certain Rackham figures, etc etc . . none of those companies stand out particularly - nobody out there does minis that I feel: OH! Gotta have every one!! The closest has been West Wind\'s Vampire Wars stuff, and miniature horror gaming is my least favorite period! (I prefer Historical, Victorian Sci Fi, WFB, 40k, Mordheim, Chainmail all before that.) But none of those ranges has IMHO a flawless and completely perfect range.
My only measure can be that I own about 80% of the Gothic Horror stuff, and significantly less percentages in the other ranges. Though, figure for figure, Reaper is prolly next, then GW.
Blashphemy: Rackham is extremely overrated I think - design choice is hit or miss for my needs as opposed to poor modeling or bad sculpting - all that is perfect.
Mage Knight metals has some good figs in there; I\'m also always braying about Ghost Miniatures, Eureka, etc, etc . . lots to love out there . . .

The Forgeworld products are uber-cool and if I would just go on that, I would say that they are my favorite. If you throw the huge amount of money they cost into the equation, then they lose some of the appeal.

I have some Ghost miniatures and at less than a dollar a pop, they are pretty darn good.
The old Grenadier line of stuff is probably my sentimental favorites. I still love the War Mammoth and War Rhino sets.
But as far as quality,price, and customer service, it is pretty hard to beat Reaper. They are really coming on strong.

I really like Reapers fantasy stuff, they are so cheap for how nice the mini\'s are. The Confrontation mini\'s look like the best out there but I havent been able to get my hands on any yet.
I guess I\'ll go with Reaper...
I do happen to like the minis done by Juan Diaz and the Perry Twins, but for sheer variety, and for having getting rid of the ugly broccoli bases (thank God for the warlord line), I\'ll have to vote Reaper. Only wish they come up with some Sci-Fi minis, other than the CAV mechs.

My vote (other) goes to Crocodile Games for their Wargods of Aegyptus miniatures. They are very fantastic with very little cleanup required. Best of all, when I order from them I always have my stuff in less than a week! (sometimes 3-4 days)

If pressed I\'d say that GW is my favorite. I have far and away more GW stuff than anything else. I love the dwarfs and their new Mordheim Dwarf warband is very nice.
However, GW figures have some pretty bland poses. Some are cute and some are very funny, but few seem truly annimated.
This is why I have an increasing love for Reaper. Most of their figures feel like they are involved in a fantasy world. It\'s much easier to picture them in a scene or a diorama. Lately Reaper has had my full attention.
I also like the Celtos line. The new Goblins are very, very, very cool. I also really like a lot of the elf characters. And who can complain about an entire army of scantily clad women with huge swords? Still, they don\'t fit well with the fantasy world in my head, so I don\'t buy too many of them.
I have also purchased some Ghost minis. I got a handful of Dwarf Women. They turned out better than I expected, but I haven\'t painted them yet.
Confrontation: I don\'t care much for this line. It seems to leap out of fantasy and into surreal. The dwarfs seems twisted and the goblins seem just plain gross.

Yes got to agree they are cool especially the new Choas Beast, but as to the prices, don\'t forget Resin is a one shot deal. Get it wrong and it\'s rubbish.
Talking to one of their caster/sculptors they originally were losing 40% of the casts when they first started due to varying things like humidity, the strength of the person stirring the materials (Still done by hand as well) and whether the winds was from the West.
Now things have improved but demand is still ahead of the manual mixing process. (Go Figure)

There are lots of reasons for liking different manufacturers. I\'m going to name my biggest 2 and the makers that support them best.
Sculpt: I like clean, little flash (who doesn\'t hate prep), believable poses/body types.
For this I like I-Kore (VOID/Celtos)
Variety: A large number of quality sculpts of a range of fantasy literature types, so you can get just the right one for your particular need.
For this I like Reaper though I have to admit I haven\'t bought any yet as I\'ve been spending my hobby budget on quality paint lately. I\'ve picked out my first order though.

Games Workshop - I have far too much invested in thier products to even hope to give them up. Even if they do treat every one else like excrement.

When I started in the hobby, my favorite was Ral Partha - then they went to hell, about the time Reaper actually started (and I saw some of the earliest Reaper stuff in the mid 90\'s when I was living in Dallas and didnt think much of them). However, now I have to admit that most of my mini buying bucks go to Reaper and lately I-Core for the some of the Celtos Stuff. I might buy the occassional Iron Winds piece just for Battle tech, but thats about it.

Acutaly I prefer Privateer right now, (warmachine) but they were not on the list.
Rackham\'s models are ok, but they are impossible to work with in the US, and their prices are insane, so I just can\'t support them.
Reaper gets my vote on the list - solid company - decent available minis - cheap prices.

My vote goes to Crocodile Games for their Egyptian Wargods line. I just love Fitzpatrick\'s sculpts. And alot of their minis are just so clean and handsome (even though if they\'re only half humans).
I\'ve already got 3 different armies. But I\'m not the gamer type. Just like painting them.
I can\'t wait till they continue the crane looking men.
