Im looking to get some white spray paint, can anyone point me in the right direction?
Really? I thought that Games Workshop paints were more.Originally posted by Sauce Devil
Car spray paints are fine but Games Workshop\'s \"Skull White\" primer dries very quickly and it costs about the same.
Yeah, GW stuff is generally overpriced and their paints and spraycans are no exception.Originally posted by DaRat

Last thing to try then is warming the can in hand-hot water and seeing how it sprays.Originally posted by diddy lemon1
i already have a can of gw primer but its awful, the spray looks all bumpy on the model. i have tried shaking it for longer and spraying at different differences and in burst etc.. but it still comes out bad
totally agree there. have recently started using halford\'s spray primer and it\'s great! smoother than gw, harder wearing, bigger and cheaper. wins every time for me!Originally posted by Einion

Automotive primer works for me and it\'s way cheaper than any of the hobby primers - often bigger can and still cheaper.

Yes. I use the brush on primer from the Reaper Master Series Paint line. I thin the paint about 3:2 (primer to water).Originally posted by diddy lemon1
I have an airbrush, can you get white primer to put through air brushes ?

I looked at Halfords primer and it\'s £5.79 compared to GW\'s at £6.50. How much are you paying for it? I\'d like to find some cheaper primer because I have a load of plastic minis to paint.

A couple of you have mentioned humidity...what ranges of humidity are acceptable for GW primer (both black and white)? I\'ve never heard of this.

Sauce Devil, I use Hycote primer mostly - it\'s roughly equivalent to £4.70 where I get it (400ml can).
