Who is your favorite musical artist?

For me it´s AC/DC, they rock real hard, Angus is a real devil  on stage (yes I have seen him live so I know). Other good rock bands (metallica, deep purple, scorpions, iron maiden, guns\'n\'roses) do it as well.

Keep on rockin\'

I listen to pretty much anything as long as its heavy metal and really loud.

So Motorhead gets played a lot.

And viking metal freaking rules.

Insane Clown Posse - wouldn\'t surprise me if I was the only one here, either :)

Also like Tool, Zombie, Prodigy, and a smattering of others.

Well I like listening to all sorts, Number 1 on my list is Tool though. Went to see them Live twice last year and managed to get a drum stick the first time. Should be going to see them again in August aswell.

Other bands I like:
-A Perfect Circle
-Opeth
-Pink floyd
-Beastie Boys
-Prodigy
and many more

@Aidan K - I just got a copy of the new Tomahawk album this weekend and am really liking it.

If I only mention one it is definitely Nick Cave. If I would mention more than one I could go on all day. :)

Well for a single musical artist, my favourite simply has to be Clint Mansell.

Originally the lead singer of Pop Will Eat Itself (Genius, pure genius) more recently he\'s being doing some film scores....
\"Lux Aeterna\" is an epic piece from the chillingly depressing Film \"Requiem for a Dream\" that was redone for a \"LOTR: The Two Towers\" trailer....it\'s a piece I\'m sure you\'ll know.

The man\'s a genius

I like quite a bit of different musical genres & artists but when I am painting it is usually one of the following groups:

Clash
Green Day
Ramones
Hanoi Rocks
Manic Street Preachers
Sisters of Mercy
Killers
Nirvana

when I am relaxing I also like

Travelling Wilburys
Roy Orbison
BB King
Guns & Roses
Muddy Waters
Carmina Burana by Carl Orff

Tooo much...

Its good to see a good metal contingent on here:twisted:

Really into stuff like Meshuggah, Textures, Ion Dissonance, Despised Icon, The Red Chord, A Life Once Lost and The Handshake Murders right now - stuff that takes 100 listens to figure out where repetitions begin and end, if at all???

ALWAYS got these close to hand, though -
The Abominable Iron Sloth, Down, Far, Will Haven, Ghostride, Neurosis, Mouth of the Architect, Pelican, Fiona Apple.

There\'s a hell of alot more, but I\'m probably getting boring!

Countersunk - Check out a band called \"Caveat\" on MySpace (or their website). Local guys from Calgary that are very intense but also diverse.
