Me, hopefully War Griffon if he can keep HMS Nottingham afloat for a few more days. (And can scrounge the shore leave):D
Sadly Mrika won\'t be there this year, but that means more of a chance for others in the painting competition.

James Sequira was talking about going, don\'t know if he\'s still planning on it.
Tooshy & Avicenna are generally there.

I\'m thinking about going (especially as my mother-in-law will be staying around then so any excuse to get out  ). I\'ve not been to any gaming/painting conventions before though and never heard of Salute so is this a good one to start me off on that slippery slope?

It\'s still floating but it is broken again so providing we don\'t get docked down that weekend I will be there :D

I have booked my ticket and ordered train tickets so the damn tin tub better not change it\'s mind again :D

Wonderful!
How can we spot each others or meet?
Perhaps we can wear a CMON badge but that might be missunderstood in the tube so we should put it on only inside salute :-D

btw should I bring just my credit card or do some of the sellers there only accept cash?
I so look forward to meeting you all!
U.

What if we meet outside the tube station at a certain hour and then head to the venue?
Probably not a good idea as some of us will have queue buster tickets and others might not so would be in different queues.

I think it would need to be somewhere inside the venue, how about near one of the three seating areas?

Margo are you going to be entering anything this year?

The important question here is: are you going to go there in the morning or afternoon?
Personally I\'ll go very early in the morning as I plan to make the most of the place.
Perhaps we could agree on a meeting time at a specific spot, and or (I\'d say and) wear a cmon badge or sticker so that if we meet each other in the crowd we can still recognise each others.
Your thoughts?
U.

importan question (for me as I go there for the first time):
do the sellers and exhibitors (right word in english?) there all accept credit cards, or should I bring cash?

I have this silly idea that I might buy a thing or two there...:twisted:

I almost went but decided to pour my cash into the Ravage Open at Paris instead. It would have been a nice couple of days away though.

Some of the larger traders will take plastic but some will only take cash
