Seems like all I ever have is WIPs laying around my apartment. So here\'s another one for your viewing (dis)pleasure - my Nurgle Exalted Daemon! :D

Seeing all the cool projects underway, I thought I should begin one as well (poor, poor timing on my part, what with college and all). Anyways, this is based on the 5th ed. Rat Ogre mini, and will eventually have modified pegasus wings (though I\'m contemplating changing them to \"normal\" leathery daemon wings), as well as all sorts of sculpted nastiness in addition to the head. His weapon will be a huge pick-thing (using that grey spike shape in the top-most picture). I\'m having an absolute blast sculpting it - finally I\'m beginning to understand the beast that is Greenstuff.

This is very much in a rough state, as the sculpting is in its first, rough, draft, or gesture stage, but tell me what you think. ;)

BTW the blob of pink Sculpey is just there to prop it up until I get the legs on.

Beyond my small daemon force (most likely Slaanesh), my long-term goals include a convertion of each Daemonic Legions character (excluding GD\'s) for each god, resulting in 12 minis. We\'ll see how that goes. :D

Woah...first try? That\'s amazing! I love the detail you\'ve put in - keep it up, man! ;)

@ralfmetal: What did you make the blade and foot on your Ogre conversion? Looks like either sculpey or foam. ???

the blade and foot is made from dental acrylic ..made it in wax (during dinner hour of course)a quick mould using lab putty, pour in acrylic ,5 mins later =1 blade +1 foot ,i trimmed the blade up so its got some damage on it and a cutting edge that cuts (not the best idea i`ve had)

Chaplain Icarus finished green

Those sculpts are both awesome, Scott your first attempt looks better than my latest one....

A while ago I posted some progress of my chaplain I was resculpting, he was nearly finished but I was not happy with his arms, so he got sidelined, but the other day I had an idea to just sculpt the arm I wanted so got the pose I wanted, here is the result.
The greenstuff has been scraped and sanded smooth so it looks a little rough and patchy in places but this is only due to the smoothing (ironic huh?) and will have no effect on the painted model.

Wow, theres lots of sculpting going on and its all really high quality,

Heres my latest piece, i\'ve just finished all of the barding (other side too, it about killed me but its done now, oh apart from the shield shaped designs on each piece,

the biggest problem is that it has such weight (still to include the metal bsb aswell) onto such small points, the pins should hold it, but i think ill still have to be veeery careful.

Thanks, Joe

Whoa!

Xtremely nice horsey!
Yeah, the whole fleur-de-lys design is a pain in the back, but nicely done! And I SO dig the bottle... wow! Can\'t wait to see it finished...
