The Imperial Guard: I like his huge claw and the dried blood on it. (How does he eat and sleep with it though... ???lol) His skin colour (or lack thereof) is also great! The red needs some more highlights, I think, and the same goes for the black, although very little.

The elf: I think the inside of the cloak and the boots are really great! The face also looks good, but the hair has too much contrast between light and dark, IMO. The sword looks unfinished (perhaps it is...). Will you do any freehand on this? The inside of the cloak is a good place for it. Doesn\'t have to be extensive or complicated, but a little something would make it more striking.

HTH :)

OK, thanks a lot Anders !

Actually the sword is finished(before you came along) but i\'ll shade it more.
And the inside of the cape is nothing more than a codex grey basecoat :p
I will blend it up to fortress and add some freehand (thanks for the tip)

Actually the black on Yarrick was expiremental, following Jakob Nielsens tutorial, but you can\'t really see it in the pic, try to up the brightness a lot on your monitor or in photoshop, you\'ll notice them then.

Hehe ;)
It does looks a bit uniform. Try to make it darker on the edge facing downwardsnearest to the hilt. Then you can let it blend into the lighter bluish shade you have closer to the tip.

It really looks shaded and highlighted in the photo. Well, you have made a really good base coat, then... :D

Yeah, I noticed when I upped the brightness. I guess it\'s one of those effects that is hard to capture in a pic.

Be sure to tell when the minis are finished and posted! :)

Just love seeing what everyone is up to!

This is something I\'ve resurected - based on an illustration in the Inquistor rulebook. He was getting too complicated so I\'ve decided to simplify him.

Ready to start details on him now, and sculpt a robe as well - there is also a shoulderpad on his left arm thats been made.

Use the new green (cadian, catachan, whatever it is) its a much better colour for lizardy things, have a look at the carnosaur in my gallery.

Wolf_Fang: Looks pretty good. I like the tattoos; maybe you could highlight them to distinguish them more. The redish picture of a red figure does make the picture look bad.

its just the way the lighting is.. il\'l take new pics tonight and swap em!.. as for the tatoos i feel i went over bord a bit.. they are all over the top the front and even the legs!.. however i kinna like it on the legs and the body will be covered by the tyrant... however im debating buying a new dreadnaught and using that one for the base instead.. im actualy thinkin i might sell that 1 and buy a new furioso and use that (updated pics!)

This is one of my many WIPs... really, I\'d have a gallery four times as large as my current one if I posted all my WIPs. :p

I still have two other Githyanki to finish up, but since this is going in my personal collection it\'ll probably get put behind various commission and eBay pieces I\'m also trying to complete.

I\'m especially pleased with the rug -- if you notice, it\'s been cut to fit the removable base where a Githyanki will eventually be, lording over the fallen wizard. Made of green stuff, painted to suit.

The Githyanki is from the 1985 Citadel ADD / TSR series while the wizard, table, and crystal ball are from Grenadier around the same time. The column is a plastic one from Micheal\'s; the skull is a Games Workshop skeleton of course.

Blurry as hell in the foreground, but you know... this is a WIP, so I can get away with that. :)

Cool GS - He looks like Spock!
Arrfff, you\'ve found my source ;). Glad you like it though :).

@Orb : very cool sculpt, glad we have you in the team ;).

@Calavera : true fo the muscle structure ... I usually mess up proportions, so I decided to do the muscle groups even though they would be covered up by the armor ... I guess I went overboard ;).

This is another one of my many WIPs at the moment but I thought I would post it as I have done a bit of work on it recently.

I am finding this model a bit of a bitch to do as there is so much detail on it and it is taking forever to get something that looks more like a well sculpted mini than a blob of different coloured paint. Hope you like it.
Picture quality is poor but my camera sucks but I think you can see where I am going with it.

Donga,

She is going to be in my sick circus ring diorama. I just need to get my basing stuff together (have to shop), so hopefully it will be finished in the next week or so.
