[Mordred]

Ok, another try to get some pictures up here I hope the link works this time.

this is a unit of cold one knights from games workshop that I\'m working on. I\'m trying to keep up a high table top quality, I spent quite some time painting those bloody battle cows and their scales

the banner, with some freehand faces on it. Inspiration from Tammy Haye\'s dreadnought.

these are the first 3 corsairs that I\'m painting for my army ... I really like the models so I want to get all the cloaks just right.

comments on technique and colours, lemme know.

They look excellent.Theres some colour clash between the riders and cold ones but hey who cares when they look that good.
Love the capes and banner.

Holy cow Klute! Think we could convince Willard to work for a mini company? Can you imagine the work he\'d put out?

Couldn\'t find anywhere where it talked about tools, and i don\'t think anybody would pay me to sculpt their minis out of goldlol Gosh, that guy\'s got talent.

Tim- thats looking good so far, im baffled as to how the nmm would work on those weired shaped blades, either suggestion woul work if don properly

Mordred - I agree with Klute that the colours clash a bit, but that dosen\'t matter as they\'re still a great looking unit, cool bases too. The corsairs are very nice indeed, it\'s good to see a different approach to them.

I\'ve just finished (apart from the base) the Phoenix bounty hunter. I think it\'s a nice one for my personal collection, here she is :

Are blue and orange not complamentary colours?

Thanks Stef, i\'ve just done most of it back home though so you didn\'t miss much,

i think blue and orange are complementary colours, but there\'s also greens in there, which might be a bit of a distraction for some people, they do look great though , so who cares if the colours aren\'t perfect. Once again brilliant job there Mordred.

@NWMP - the armor looks fantastic! However the eagle\'s plumage really needs more work - it looks waxy and flat right now. Part of that is inadequate highlighting, part is the paint/varnish finish.

Hammer and Eagle seem unfinished to me in general, but I have to say the \'man\' himself is absolutely fantastic. Care to give us a run down of the colors on that armor?

Here is the weapon blade as I have done it I think it works ok though a couple of the horizon lines need a bit of straightening up I will get that done tomorrow evening now as I have to go to bloody work. What a pain inthe ass.

Here is the model now based he needs a bit of correction as the model is leaning slightly over to one side and kind of makes it look un balanced but again that will be corrected later.

Brokenblade that bounty huntress looks nice though I think a little more highlighting on the skin wouldn\'t hurt but that is something I always get wrong myself so who am i to comment on that.

NWMP as has been mentioned the armour looks great bet the hammer and the eagle need more work to bring them up to the level of the rest of the model.

this is what I would do.Accentuate the horizon a bit on the top and bottom blades,and change the bottom of the handle as such.

Or I would be inclined to do the handle gold nmm then you wont need to mess with the horizon on the handle.

Looking nice tim, not too great on the old nmm myself so not got much advice to offer on this but its nice to see the WIPs and klute\'s advice looks pretty cool.

NWMP - as said before nice job on the armour but the eagle is lacking something. nice job though.

Just finished off my techmarine\'s servo harness and posted him.

Thats really good, I like the techmarine body, but I think the servo harness is a little over the top, but you\'ve done a good job of making it look \"real\".
