Really? More of a call for ichthyologists? It\'s funny; because I never pursued it because there was no work in ichthyology. Those that I had spoken to all ended up working on trout or koi farms.Originally posted by solaria2k
There seems to be more of a call for ichthyologists these days too. I\'d love it if my daughter went for that kind of career.
Mind you, it was many years later that I had opportunity to work with an ichthyologist who was tracking whale sharks. A hell of a guy, but he smelt of fish.
I might be one of those arseholes, Mike. For me, IT lost credibility when every Tom, Dick and Harry with a MCSE or MCwhatever thought they knew it all. The people who truly did know their stuff got a bad reputation, even while paying big money (and learning almost nothing) for a valueless certification in order to stay ahead. I\'m not sure whether our rant is the same, or whether we\'re at opposite corners.Originally posted by DragonsreachWhat I dislike about it is the politics , one-upmanship, user ignorance, user non-ingorance and general disregard that IT professionals like my staff and I have to put up with from a few A*******s...
