@Ari: Yes, you\'ve really got the shape and detail of the face down nicely. Nice job... especially for a first head!

Well, while waiting for commission minis to cure between layers i\'ve worked up a few WIP minis...
first is my Space Wolf Captian. Nothing much, just a slight repose and newer-ish weapon sight.
SWCaptainWIP1.jpg

Then converting some Necromunda minis into Wammer 4DK Ork Bomba Boyz
OrkBombazWIP1.jpg

and saving the best for last... a Ral Partha Medusa made into a Red Wizard who\'s turned assassin. Oh, and she\'s got a nasty little surprize summoning out of the ground too ;)

Good work there TAB.

Just got mine together (took me three days to be happy with all the joins, didn\'t want them to break during painting... danty little pieces to attach)

lol

@Tidoco--great Minotaur--inspirational metallics as always. Thrud is looking good...
@Rhode--cool colors. I like the yellow and dark green.
@Corpuscle--well done. Perhaps just a few additional highlights on the skin?
@Griffo--very good work thus far. I don\'t like the green foliage on the base, but that\'s just personal preference. The skin is coming along nicely and the mouth is well done. NMM is progressing very well too. I am not a NMM guy, but perhaps a few pure white highlights on the armor at the points of greatest reflection? I agree with dirtying the armor a bit too.
@Mordred--you\'ve continued your excellent work on the warband. Keep it up!
@Ghaffasa--I look forward to more...
@Provoke_Me--I like him. Get off my porch ya %$&# Tyranid!
@Itchy--cool conversions. On the Medusa/Red Wizard/assassin her right elbow looks funny. Is she double jointed? lol
@TAB--Neat effect. I think this is one of my favorite sculpts.

Here is the latest on one of my ME#4 LoTR elf warriors. Any last minute suggestions?

Thanks TAB, I think this is looking very good. I\'ve never tried the OSL effect so can\'t help you there. I am thinking of doing both of these sculpts from Rackham just as soon as I get one or two other things done. I think you have made a good choice in using the different greys for contrast.
Thanks Jabberwocky, the minotaur is a great model to do. I have another one to do and will start that very soon.

Thrud is a bit further along now and here are the latest two images.

Who makes it?

That\'ll be the Gargoyle of Acheron by Rackham, same company that made that big lump of resin I\'m painting.

Only my second serious attempt at NMM and so far I like it. I know it needs a little tidying up but I am reasonably happy thus far.

Nice sculpting Abstract!

@Tim-both of yours are looking great. The skin on the barbarian is really smooth and the color is very nice! That is also good looking NMM. The blade looks thin and I know that can be hard to paint realistic NMM on.

@Tab-Sweet gargoyle! I wanted to buy that one when I first saw it, but I haven\'t got around to it. Yours is looking very nice. I love the green.

@Jabberwocky- I like the grey cloaks on your lotr minis. Last minute suggestion: do the bases. lol, I am sure that\'s not what you were looking for, but they look good to me.

Right thats it....

I want one of those gargoyle thingies is it the No2 version with the arch and this pick is just showing the face on view?

Or is this another version again?

There\'s 2 sculpts, #1 pulling itself out of a pillar and #2 coming out of a ruined gothic arch.

OK finally got an updated pic of the big guy.
The main things left to do are the combat pants and boots need finishing. The boots only have the bulk done at the moment. I will add some pouches etc to the pants, maybe a shin dagger that sort of thing.
I want some more cyber gibbins on the back too but not much more, some pipes in the flesh here and there.
He has the grenade launcher blue tacked on here.
Ive noticed the nose looks too big so that will be sorted out.

That\'ll explain it then, I know where I can get a hold of the gothic arch one but am stuck for another UK/Ireland based dealer anybody know of anymore other than netmerchants?

@TAB: Great job !! love the OSL.
@tidoco: The barbarian is pretty nice. But the highlight on the skin is of the same intensity every were. I think the upper horizontal parts should be a lot more highlighted then the torse and legs.

Thanks Guys you have inspired me to base and finih tonight
It indeed is number 1 version I like the number 2 as well and it is on the want list, It was a bear to put together and a pisser but the sculpt is great for washes. I need to figure out how to do the courtyard he is guarding with out getting to busy but, that is another project.
Tim got your picture and will put it on site I am always honored and thrilled Thanks You can tell you love the skellies that looks so great you are going to be \"all upons\" the metal styles in a wink.
The sculpting and conversion work here is great. it is fun to see and watch all of your projects grow.
