TAB, that skintone is just fantastic! Can\'t wait to ses her finished. I was thinking for hair something like a strawberry blonde (on the pale side) but the white hair would look cool as well, especially if you did the armor dark. Are those her ears sticking up on the sides or some part of her back armor?

Them\'s ears alright. Nothing like Spock\'s but still pointy.
To me she has a very Manga-esque style to her, and I rather think that the ears suit her.

well the nurgle marine is finished.... i cant seem to get good pics of it at the mo so il\'l try again tommora..... well heres some half decent pics that are leaning mor toward crappy pics for the meantime! hopefully this will ty u over.... when i get better pics il\'l post it under discuss submissions and put him up on CMON (still needs name on banner... not doing till i get a good paint pen for it... open to name segestions... yes he\'s new to nurge lol (had no greenstuff))

the armour colour is closest to the pic of the hand with bolter... problem is pics were turning out yellow so thats as close as i could get it and it is fairly close

Excellent mini wolf fang.. I really like the green and the small details on the shoulderpad but the base looks so tiny !

thats the base it comes with its not my fault lol and yes it is kinna small.... had him fall over and the bolter break off a few times thats why hes not on my comp desk but in the other crater with the dreadnaught (the marine\'s bigger lol) but atleast he has less chances of fallin there evn tho the craters itselfe is unfluat surface

Here is my latest WIP another bit of fun from the LOTR range Boromir Captain of Gondor.
I changed the overall black to a dark blue just to make the mini more interesting as he is mainly silve and black in the movie.

I intend to put him on a little diorama base but that will have to wait until I get back off holiday as I am going away later today wooot.

Wolf/Tidicco - those are awesome...

Added teeth/tongue over past 2 nights... Need to add thin layer of apoxysculpt betweewen teeth and on outside edge of them to make it appear like gum layer.

Tonite I sand down the headpiece and decide if i want to use the stone armour on the head, or not....

Also assembled some skeletons yesterday for trophies on it...still need to make banners for them though

Also, will take an exacto knife and just carve out a few small areas that are too rough, etc on the face to try and make it look a bit better... since it looks to rough now

just my opinion... however where they mouth is darkened and the teeht look a bit smaller i think looks a little better... the way the teeth are it looks like he could never close his mouth. mayb if you shorter then if at all possibly itl\'l look a little better? still lookin good tho! still cant wait to see if finished

So based on the feedback, tonite I will be skipping the gym, and going home to rip out all the teeth, try and shave off some of the dried glue, and then cut the teeth in half, and reglue them ...then do the apoxysculpt gum line on them...

Trying to do that almost magical blue armour that elfs have on my 1/2 Orc barbarian, but not getting much luck with it i\'m afraid. So shot me some pointers PLEASE. Thanks

Other than retooling the NMM what else needs more attention? ANY help is great help. Thank you again to anyone who can lend some advise.

your skin could use some highlights. as for the armor...cant help yah. been wanting to do that myslef on a few mini but could never pull it off the way i imagined it.

Itchy I would wash it with a very dark blue and black mix diluted way thin and see if it brought the tones together but there are many better here tan I soooo...

Here is the elf right now the quest is the color of the leather??? I keep looking and think a pale red leather but that is because I liked the dark red leather on Barbie so much and I do not want to be redundant... then I am thinking the patches over the breasts will be type of metal as well the scroll.

She is fun and so much better than skeletons for me. Thank you for the help it is hard for me to choose.

Thanks Tracy, i\'ll do that right after the D&D game tomorrow morning.

As for colors... i\'m partial to gold scrolling, so if you did the metal as oiled steel and then the leather... a very tan brown or even died black i think it\'d look good. The dark leather and dark NMM metal with the shining gold... the scrolls would really pop. Oh, and i know a lot of people do Rackham style stuff with colored NMM metals... greens or blues. The scroll work just made me think of Rackham.

Just my 2 cents. Really like how it\'s coing together.
