Orb-Looking good so far. Does the guy have some scruff on his face? I can\'t see him straight on. If he doesn\'t, I think scruff would look great on \'im. Otherwise that looks great. Can\'t wait to see an entire squad. Everytime I see these guys I just want to get them so bad.

Wow, those drop troops are some of the best soldier models GW has put out yet. Really grim and gritty. Your paint job is coming along nicely too.

@Tony : The central jem needs a bit more blending IMHO. Is that crescent shape on the left shoulder supposed to be gold? It might need a bit more brown tints. Are those blue stains oxidizations marks or some fluid that\'s leaking? Steal rusts, it doesn\'t get \"vert de gris\" like bronze. I also think the dome steal part on the shoulder should be highlighted more to make a convincing NMM. Could you take another picture of the base please? As is it looks a bit bland compared to the mini.

I\'ve made a start on all three of the minis that I recieved in ME#7, I am spending most of my time on this one though as it is something that I do not usually paint. This is a very early WIP of the mini.
It is supposed to be a Space Wolf seargent, having looked through various books for inspiration I did not like any of the colour schmes that I had seen for these guys so I am going to wing it.
My other two minis are both LOTR and are a Knight of Dol Amroth (mounted) and also Eowyn shield maiden of Rohan. I have not taken a pic of them yet but I have started them.

As you can see I have only done the horse. I was going to do the armour gold NMM but I think I will go grean as it is too close to the color of the mane.

I\'ve never succeeded at doing this sort of skin before, but I\'m pretty happy with this attempt. Critique appreciated...

Ogrebane that is looking sweet the horse is particularly nice (I hate painting horses so kudos to you for that mate) well I am fairly pleased with this so far, after making a little more progress thismorning, I feel now that I know the direction that I am going with it.

@Koradhil-Great job so far, but I agree that perhaps the hair needs something more. The pic makes it look flat and not very dynamic. Perhaps it needs some depth added or maybe its just the pic. Otherwise turning out to be very impressive.
@tidoco-The goblin shield freehand really makes him stand out. As usual great job. The space marine looks good so far. You paint so much and so well I can not ever come up with anything semi-negative to say. Besides how does someone of lesser skill criticize people who paint daily?
