Not sure if the lekku and iirc comments were about about my mini, if they where then I don\'t know what that is.

If you mean his head-tails he does have two, it just looks like he\'s got one long one (headtail) from the photo.

If they weren\'t then ignore it.

P.S.

Jabba\'s consult was a Twi\'lek..........

Hi Everyone,
Well this is my latest W.I.P...

Nice, though he has a serious case of \"pumpkin head\" (even for a Twilek). I.e. his head seems very large lol. Is this for the Outer Rim Customs contest?

That would be Bib Fortuna... a Twilek. Just not a very attractive Twilek:

Tony may be right, that purple looks quite uneven... :( The grey seems okay, it\'d be a shame to strip the whole thing. Maybe you can just touch up the \"under-painted\" parts.

Here\'s my latest WIP:

Cthulhu-pink.jpg

\"Great Cthulhu\". I plan to highlight the green bits up to Rotting Flesh again, and perhaps tie it all together with a dark wash at the end. I noticed some mold lines are still there, but I\'m hoping to disguise those with paint, rather than rip up the work I\'ve already done.

Thats really great NSA...I am definately going to get that mini!

I\'d suggest highlighting only certain areas to get more of a focal point on the mini (the face, the claws)....He has so many gibbering slavering parts it is hard to focus on anything.

That would help define his monsterous apprarance even more, imho...;)

I like it so far NSA. The skin will really look nice once that final highlight is done and the tone of the tentacles is cool.

I think that the green areas could do with a little extra variation though. If you work in a different tone on bits like the suckers on the hands and some of the pimple areas I think it would make it even more interesting. Perhaps you could highlight them up to pure white and then go over with thin colour washes.

Here\'s a base I made for an Ork Nob. I\'m going to paint it up to be very grimy and muddy, then add some water effect so the bottom area is slightly submerged.

I have been mucking around with this after rediscovering it on the back of my WIP shelf. This is intended for e-bay so I am not going to town on the paintwork but hopefully it will be good enough to make a fair price.

Now to go and get some more done to it.

Looks good already. Nice purple. I have real problems with purple. I hate it. I realised how bad I was at it when it dawned on me that all the minis in the \'to strip\' pile had purple on them.

Contrasts really well with the skin too. Should fetch a pretty penny on Ebay.
